I believe tolerance and free speech should be the polity on a public forum like this. The fact that myself and Tudor disagree on DaGrin's accident and eventual death does not make us resort to name-calling. Except you are a 17 year old, then i will take it that you are still very immature to communicate your opinion without passing insults.

I simply aired my view on the death of DaGrin and those i perceived to be responsible. He is partly responsible, the Police, hospital staff, Federal and state Govt. and so many other factors are responsible for his death. But most of us here focus on the hospital staff because they were the last resort of redemption and possible survival of that accident.

Did you get to see pictures of KANYE WEST SUV when he had an accident? He should have died from that accident, but the Doctors and Nurses were able to save him. The point here is, in whatever profession we find ourselves, we should work at it so well, even when we are dead and long gone, people will always remember us for our outstanding work.

Assuming DaGrin made it alive from LUTH, the Doctor that treated him would have being greatly rewarded and recognized, but unfortunately he will never be known. But we all know BEN CARSON, and the other great physicians who have excelled in their line of profession. They went the extra mile, to save a life and put a smile on someone face. There should be no excuses for doing the job you are paid to do, if you feel you are over worked or under payed, then you should quit the job and STOP KILLING PEOPLE.

Yes, everyone should exercise the right of free speech, but it's really really brainless of you to start whaling in on the doctors based on the words of a bereaved layman.
There's no indication that the doctors or nurses are in anyway culpable, people like you, freshera and binigurl that are jumping to (probably) unfounded conclusions are the ones who should ask yourselves if your positions are logical.

We may never know whether the doctors did the best they could. but how strange that you're attacking Tudor for speaking confidently on the only thing we're sure of: DaGrin was drunk that night, driving at high speed on that narrow road in Mushin. He could have hit and killed someone as many drunk drivers have done in the past. Luckily, that didn't happen.

Nigerians are always afraid to speak the truth, but if you really want to make DaGrin's death count for something, use his sad end as a rallying point to speak against drunk driving. Stop railing at overworked and underpaid Doctors and Nurses. That's just plain silly.

N97 and some newer versions of nokia has the chat and online mail delivery function which some think is the BB advantage.There is nothing special abt BB.
N97 is better and more robust;it can be configured such that you receive your mail on the move better than BB.

Obviously you've never used a Blackberry device before. I suggest you nicely ask someone who has one to explain to you how wrong you are.
At least the Storm 2 uses a capacitive touch screen instead of the resistive crap the supposedly high-end N97 uses.

You do realize that Apple releases their phones on a yearly cycle? It's nobody's fault that the iPhone 4 comes out just when you've finally managed to scrape up funds for a used iPhone 2G.

Truth is, it's kinda hard to recommend either of those two phones. The N97 is nothing special, the Storm 2 isn't bad, got a lot of good reviews.

If you really want a Nokia phone, i suggest you wait for the N8. At least Nokia's finally doing something different and the hardware looks pretty good.

Nope it doesn't the iOS would allow some services to run in the background and the number of services are very limited (like 7) there include things like music streaming, Voip etc. what this means is that if I have an app which streams music and decide to run another app. Even though the musicc streaming app would be closed. the stream services (running in the background i.e the process streaming the music) would continue to run even though the app is closed. It basically allows some services to run as daemons. Because of this we can see the ability to make skype and receive calls cause Voip is one of the services which is allowed to run in the background so the skype services can be allowed to run in the background even though the skype application is closed. Any application whose service is not among the chosen 7 would not even be able to take advantage of this feature. Hence if I write a game app and u want to switch from the game to read a text msg. the game would be closed (or the state saved and closed) That is different from what u get on android or symbian where u can switch from one app to another (while the previous app still continue to run in the background)

Nope. The game won't close. it'll be paused - save state like you said, but it won't close. And you can just return back to where you left off.
But seriously, the multitasking argument from android fans is kinda lame these days. Multitask/background apps is easily enabled through several jailbreak solutions.
And in before any snarky comments from Android users about not having to jailbreak, we'd have to agree that any serious Andoid fan really has to root his device. And iPhone jailbreaks are far easier these days than rooting Android phones.

I said iOS lacks support for major web standards. even though I hate flash I can not deny that its a major web standard. html5 is still very much in its infancy and not many sites use it yet. what the Iphone gives u due to its lack of flash support is a broken web. take it or leave it.

Even though the absence of flash does hurt, it's not a crippling omission. People tend to vote with their dollars, and millions are making sure that the iPhone has more mobile browser share than any other phone in the world.

I think it's pretty stupid for anyone to read this post and start heaping blame on the hospital. To the layman, the doctors never do enough, and they always want to provide advice they aren't competent enough to give.

Seriously the hospital contributed to Dagrin's death. Aside from drunk driving which is the obvious cause of the accident. Common the brother was still holding on to life for 5 days, and all the Doctors could say was that they tried their best.

Well, they should thank their stars Dagrin is not related to me, because i would have arranged for thugs to burn down the hospitals and cripple all the doctors and nurses that treated him. Bunch of retarded deviants who careless about people's lives.

You need to be at LUTH or one of those government forsaken hospitals to see how the nurses and some of the Doctors address and treat patients. I almost had one of the security men beaten up when my wife delivered at Isolo general hospital. I vowed never to go to any public hospital again, although the private hospitals are worse off. God help us in Nigeria.

Tupac died after holding on to life in the hospital for 3 days. Na hospital kill am? Since when did the number of days you hold on to life become a benchmark of medical competence?
With absolutely no indication of what really went on at the hospital, you're willing to take the word of a grief-struck woman who - by her own admission - has little or no knowledge of modern medicine?

I don't understand. You write pretty well, but you aren't reasoning like a truly educated person. I mean, burn down a hospital because a patient who had experienced cerebral bleeding got worse in the hospital before dying? C'mon!!
