The way I see all this drama unfolding, it's clear Yayaha Bello is being witch hunted not unconnected with his future political ambitions. I dont want to go further but there were governors worse than him now serving as members of Tunibu cabinet. All this charades are for their selfish interests not for the interest of the country. Am not Yahaya Bello's fan or anything but its obvious this will come to pass like nothing ever happened.

Politics / Re: A Reply To Reno: Peter Obi Didn't Build A School From Scratch by Tflex01: 12:02am On Apr 24
Beautifulday:
If you are on X copy and tag reno

Ignorance is bliss. Nobody can build a government school from scratch in the East. I don't know where you reside in Nigeria but let me give you a little run down of igbo education system.

Anyone can also copy it to that Reno post on X.

There is hardly any village. Mark the word "Village" not town that doesn't have a primary school and a secondary school in the East. So if every village has a primary school and a secondary school before the time of Obi, where would he had built a school from scratch?

For the record, most of the government schools in the East were not built by government. They were built by the villagers.

They are three schools in the east: those built by the village where it is resident, those buildings by the church and those built by the government. The majority are those built by the villages.

Nigeria is largely populated by miseducated graduates and semi educated people because it beats my imagination why we take development to be all about the setting up of structures rather than the setting up of structures in collaboration with adequate policies for the efficiency utilization of those structures.

There is a picture of the recent commissioning of school buildings by the former governor of Abia state now the senator representing Abia north. What did he commission? A single building because there is where you will see a school that you can build from scratch.

Yes! Many schools in the East especially in Abia state have dilapidated structures due to the neglect of the state governments and lack of interest by the host communities due to the entrance of private schools in the system.

So it's ironic to judge the educational system of the igbos from the view point of someone every single school in his state was built and ran by the government.

Ask Reno what his father told him about what PTA money was used for?

PTA money in the East was used to build and renovate school buildings. I believe strongly that the idea of PTA funding originated from the Eastern part of Nigeria.

The new generation of Igbo doesn't know that the Igbos started crowd funding. Ninety percent of the school in the East were built by community crowd funding long before Obi became a governor.

Reno knows one can provide a picture of any school built from scratch in the East because every community has a school in the East before democracy in Nigeria. People looking for such schools because they saw money is involved are Internet citizens of Nigeria and those who live in certain part of the country where government baby feed them with development.

Nobody needs to copy Reno on twitter. He's on Nairaland and will probably see this post.

If this project is for the Northerners, nobody will criticise it, even Northern politician like Atiku will dare not criticise it because of the anger his people will show towards him...
But in the South, everything is about grandstanding, hate and bitterness especially with our Eastern brethren.

Bad news for you all, the project WILL BE COMPLETED! who wan die make e die. πŸ˜‚

You are not originally from Lagos, and even if you were cannot determine where any Nigerian stays even if you are the governor. So, you need to know your limitations.

Glitcher:

There is nothing wrong with building that road, the coastline of the Niger Delta region does not have any road connecting it to the hinterland even though they are the ones generating the funds to build roads elsewhere. this road should be encouraged not critisized. we should only focus on ensuring they complete it by putting pressure on them starting the construction from both ends. fucking greedy and selfish nigerians.

Niger deltans are foolish if not these are the kinds of projects they should be fighting for.

Funny enough all the guys that are supporting Atiku to frustrate the project are SS/SE Obidients, including Obi himself. If this project was another Kano to Niger Republic again we won't hear anything from the Northerners.

Politics / Re: Which Nigeria Tribe Is The Most Successful In Education by Tflex01: 2:04am On Apr 22
OP asked for the "most successful"

There is quantity education and there is quality education. UNN inducts about 400 Pharmacists every session while UI inducts about 80 pharmacists and you will always see the difference in quality.

Yorubas focus on the quality and that is why they are the most successful in education.

Igbos don't care who becomes the president. If Peter Obii wins good for him and his party nothing do with Igbos.

But the truth is, No matter who becomes the president, if he is good it will benefit the Igbos more than any tribe. If he is bad Igbos will suffer less than than any other tribe.

If you like embezzle the who Nigeria money, it will end up in an Igbo mans pocket. Unless you decide to chew the money.

They control the following:
The food market
Electronics market
Spare part market
Building materials
Real estate
Hospitality
Pharmaceutical
Automobile market
Electricals.
Air Transport
Land transport
They control the business in all the seaports

They control everything you use the money to buy.
Importation of all kinds of your daily need.
If you like employ all your kinsmen and women in the ministry and oil. They are waiting for you to deposit them in their pockets.

Those shouting Igbo man can not be president in Nigeria are just deluded. Keep shouting Peter Obi will never president.

The Total number of civil servant in Nigeria is 720,000. Nigeria has over 200m people. Igbos don't depend on government

Unlike the Yoruba people that sit and wait for Government handout call salaries.. while shouting sophistication

Listen
Aside Lagos .. and Ibadan .. not Oyo.. the whole of southwest is an abandoned region .. with poverty and hunger ravaging..

The youths in those region call themselves farmers .. but produces nothing

If am lying any nairaland can travel or visit any Yoruba state for confirmation

Not online gist

The North is another region where many of their youths remain unproductive

But the southwest Yoruba people remain the number one of unproductive youths .. especially males
They learn handwork .. without capital to start after freedom

The boyi boyi .. invest their time and years 4/5.. and in next 6 month of being Oga.. they’re already in their way to China Far East .. to import

Without fraud , internet fraud , rituals .. culture.. southwest would have been the poverty capital of Africa

This is the reality and honest fact.

This one some of u are posting screenshot of halving is like u guys are expecting some kind of upsurge on halving date?? It doesn't work that way, the effect of halving is felt on the cryypto space many months after halving date, not on the date or immediately after the date & I believe everyone that has spent some time in cryypto should know this. The effect of halving may start reflecting on the market towards the end of the year. If u are expecting some kind of magic on halving date or immediately after halving, then u need to discard such expectations.

The fact that they are posting screenshots doesn't mean they are not aware of this info.

Also, it does not make sense to try to accurately use 2012, 2016, and 2020 halving to predict what will happen in 2024, the market is now different.
