Politics / Re: APC Logo And Flag by ThaProf: 8:00pm On Mar 06, 2013 |
It's really sad when we're talking about serious Nigerian issues, some sick people will be bringing tribalism. How can you say the Igbo people are inferior to the rest?? I'm Igbo but it doesn't mean I should support GEJ cos his name is Ebele. That's nonsense! We're supporting the merger party APC because we want change, we want to fight corruption for once. I don't care if APC's candidate is Yoruba or Hausa, what I know is, I'll vote them in for change. Even if my personal opinion is requested, I'd prefer Nigeria to be divided cos it's clear the different ethnic groups can't stand each other. 2 Likes |

Nigerians are just too shallow minded. Kmt!! Isn't it clear that APC is a merger party which would be a strong opposition to the PDP? Isn't it clear that the flag design signifies ANPP? The broom signifies CAN? Or that the Torquoise blue is the default colour of CPC?? Are these things too hard to see?? Instead of us accepting this oppositon party to help us sweep away the umbrella the PDP have used to cover us for 14+ years, we're here making jest of the graphic designer. Are there no other topics to joke with?? This is our country, our future, why not we come together in 2015 and take away power from this ruling class. Even if we don't vote for APC in subsequent elections, I think this is the best chance of bringing down the oligarchy. We know them. God bless Nigeria, our beloved Naija. 1 Like |

Hotdiamond: WINDOWS PHONE USERS THREAD WOULD MAKE SENSE Thank you jor. It'll make a lot of sense. Current users, intending users and past users will be able to share their views and help one another with fixes and all. But I haven't seen enough WP users to start a thread. |

seguno2: Of course we need to criticise constructively when due. It's a Civil/Democratic Society and trust me the government hears what we say. About 85% of people in government have performed very poorly and corrupt, so we need to speak. Even in the Western world, if you give the government chance they'll destroy the economy but some posts above are completely absurd. |

jedisco: Thanks for your time mate. Was really informative. I've narrowed my options down to Lumia 620 and 520 but I think I'll favour the 520 cos of the 4" screen and scratch resistance. I can always live without the LED flash and the Secondary camera, it's not as if I use them on a normal day. It might be released by the end of March or beginning of April. Would also be nice if we started a thread completely on Windows Phone, it'll help. Thanks again, I'm grateful. 1 Like |

talktimi: HEEEEY!!! Let me not blasphem but if that was the report given to him by the police, the we as ordinary citizens are in trouble. In fact I wouldn't even blame the governor for any comment he made sef. This your post says it all my brother. Nigeria didn't get to this sorry state overnight. An oligarchy urinated together to produce this great foam. All we can do now is to appreciate any government doing something positive and encourage them to do more. 1 Like |

Memphis357: "Bastard governor" No he didn't pay as much tuition as today but when he got his Law degree, Fuel price was closer to ₦1 but today it's closer to ₦100, when he got it, transport fare was closer to ₦1 but today Apapa-Oshodi is closer to ₦200. Hence things are not the same. Even the great Awolowo never said education was free, he just ofset the cost to enable his people to be educated. NB: I'm a Lasuite too and I'm not from the West. Then we go to the issue of high tuition in proper. When the fees were pretty low, my people complained that the standard was very low, then travelling to study in Cotonou/Togo. COTONOU that can't flex muscles with Eti-Osa LGA on a normal day. Just like an American leaving the US to school in Mexico, Haiti or Hunduras. The fees were raised to generate more money in turn to increase the standards which we all crave for. An iPhone costs upwards of 100k |

jedisco: Thanks for your reply. I've been using BBs for a while now and I'm really bored of the phone. I want to get a new smartphone and I love the WP8 interface. But I've gone to some Android threads and the way they glorify Android and condemn the WP scares me. They start with the lack of apps and games etc. I'd love you to kindly sell me the WP. Tell me about it in general and the things it can do. Then to particular phone to get, I love the specs of the Lumia 620 you put here sadly there's no Gorilla glass and I've heard about the release of Lumia 520 soon which has a 4" scratch resistant screen which is a good catch but it lacks LED and NFC. The Huawei 4Afrika(Ascend W1) seem to pack every feature and would be cheaper, but I don't think Huawei build can come near the Nokia. I've been saving a while for this phone, so I'd like it to be one is one i.e the best choice of the 3 which I could use for say a year or 2 without it being dated. Thanks a lot, anticipating a kind reply. |

talktimi: pls scratch Rochas from that your presidential list first, someone that was sacked from NAMA for stealing $1 million some years back, na who know wetin him dey do with Imo state treasury ? Yeah, your point is very valid mate. But as the Chief Security Officer of the state, he recieves recommendations and advice from the commisioner of Police, Security Advisers etc. Have you read the official Police statement on the event? The Police PRO said it wasn't done in the school premises, hence it's not a fraternal killing. They even categorised it as robbery/murder. Now can you blame the poor man who acts on the advise of these people? I for one is totally against okadas, and not cos crimes are committed with them but the risk in general. A lot of people have been amputated and killed by okada accidents. And I still repeat it, it's VERY easy to escape on a bike. I believe you've had a keke ride before. Hope you felt how comfortable and serene the ride was? It carries more people, hence reducing Carbon emmision. We can make more advanced ones for our transport system and enjoy them together. As for Rochas, the main point I like about him is his education model but I think he's way better than his predecessor |

I wonder you all are whinning about Fashola's decision to ban okada in strategic places. We know the volumes of crime that have been committed on bikes. I've seen enough with my own eyes, it's way too easier for criminals to get away on a bike than say a keke. Lagos is not the first state to ban okadas and won't be the last. The fact is Nigerians are all frustrated and always looking for ways to get back at goverment for all their troubles. We know the people that spoilt Nigeria and BRF is NOT one of them, do give him a break. Instead of whinning about okada ban, why not we device other means of cheap and fast travel within the metropolis?? Or don't you think the government would gladly take your suggestions if they make sense?? It's not as if BRF instructed the LASTMAs, FRSC, KAI, Police etc to harrass riders. We know he's an activist against injustice and extortion. State your claim correctly and let's see if the officer is not punished. Finally, as a matter of fact, there are a few governors I'd gladly vote to the presidency in 2015. Fashola, Akpabio, Rochas people ready to serve irrespective of where they're from. So let's be wise and not use ignorance and allow the old guards get into power to further destroy the debris. We know them. End of! |

You can always walk into any Nokia accredited shop. Or buy online at jumia.com and pay on delivery. But what's most important is that you get it from where you can freely state your warranty claims should incase faults arise. Enjoy tonydion: please how can I get d lumia 620 phone I think I'll wait for the lunch of Lumia 520 and Huawei 4Afrika to make my choice.
