a traffic policeman cannot stop a state governor's convoy. As in how? Governor's convoy usually have police cars that go ahead with "road close" sign and then police motorcycle cycle riders that go in front and block traffic and one at the back that does same. And police vehicle that will come later with "road open".
It is very dangerous for a Governor's convoy to get stuck in traffic

There was a time i went to Bauchi, a few years ago and stayed in a very good hotel. Good food, large room but they dont allow us to bring girls into our rooms. I didnt even intend to and didnt bring any girl. And i was paid cash for the programme on the eve of my departure. Departure day, i brought out all my items (including the money), packaged everything but forgot the money. On my way to the airport,i tapped my pocket, it was flat. That's when I realised I forgot my 150k in the hotel bed. And the driver reversed and we went back to the hotel. As we just entered, they came and gave us the money. I wanted to tip them, they refused.

They re usually affiliated with embassies. No private individual can process visas for a county without the go ahead from its respective embassy.

some embassies like UK, Ireland, France, Italy etc don't want applicants to come to their buildings to seek for visa, the they seek services of these independent service providers to act as liaison between the embassies and applicants. So u submit your passport and photocopy of your documents to these service providers, who then take them to the embassies. The embassy makes the decision and give the response back to the service providers to give the applicants

Someone on this forum said embassies are sovereign entities and as such above the law of the countries they reside in other words a criminal from the country of that embassy can run into them and be safe. I have seen instances of this and it is a dangerous precedence. The embassy may be covered by some immunity but they are obligated to respect the laws of that land, after all they re ambassadors of their respective countries, they should represent well.

If they don't want foreigners going to their respective countries they should pack up and go!

I don't see why Nigerians should pay millions for visa and be treated like slaves in their own country , our government should tell them to stop that. They countries of the aforementioned embassies aren't really better than Nigeria, were it not for corruption Nigerian have no business going to them

that is not an embassy but a visa processing center. They collect documents from applicants and give the embassies who make the decision and give them back the passports to give back to applicants

There is no police report or court judgement on the death of the young lady and cause. In the absence of that, every other thing is speculation.
A lady friend of mine was found strangled in her home in lagos. The best lady on earth. She was even working in a telecom company. All efforts to find her killer or even the motive for the killing proved abortive. More than 60 guys were detained and about 20 girls were detained. All texts, calls and social media (she was not even a social media person) analysed and followed up, everybody known that she interacted with, including her parents and myself were interrogated.
Years of investigations, yet nothing came up, not even 1 person was taken to court.
So know the whole derails before condemning.

refund is a process. Takes time ( about 30 days) after application. If you are a frequent flyer, it's better u open the ticket and use it next time you want to fly, they will shaa bill u for no show. But if it is a delayed or cancelled flight, they will refund you u in full. And they refund you into the account you paid from, so if you paid cash over the counter, they will pay u back cash but u did online transfer, they will refund you through your account.
