TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by Thebaes(f): 2:51pm On Apr 25, 2018
Good afternoon house. Nice job on here.
Please I need advise for my brother.
He graduated with 2:2 biz admin and wants to go for masters in Canada. All the schools he applied to did not grant him admission except for University of Canada West for masters in business administration. The whole tuition came to 39000cad and I made some research online and the sch doesn't really have good reviews. Is anyone in the school currently? Is it worth it?
Between going for University of Canada west and running a diploma in a college which is better?
Please advise.

Thanks dear. I would hold and see.
Do u have an idea the requirements to meet for them to accept one's application so I prepare ahead just in case. Thanks again

I think you should just hold on a bit to see how the draws go from now....The NOI you received from ontario is valid for 6 months but once you create a profile on their portal, you have 14 days or so to submit the complete application to be considered for OINP...if they're satisfied with your app, they will nominate you within few weeks...Meanwhile, I saw the tweet from David Cohen(canadavisa) this evening that there MAY be about one month break b4 another draw takes place, after the June 6th changes...so you have sometime to decide on where exactly you wanna put some $1500 grin

Thanks for your suggestion. I would hold and see where the wind blows.
However, do you or anyone have an idea what one is required to submit if I decide to accept their NOI so that I prepare ahead. thanks again
Dammiehar:
After getting the NOI as you have just gotten, I think you have 45 days to apply, so you can just hold on and see if the EE cut-off goes down in the coming days. Whichever province offers you nomination, you still have to pay for the application. Read more here concerning Ontario PNP http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNP_EE_CAPITAL_FAQ.html

Thank u dear. my CRS is 409. What do you advise? 1500$ is quite a lot though. is there any other way to get provincial nomination?
thanks again
Dammiehar:
It means they are considering you for provincial nomination and you will have to apply for it with your documents and $1500 CDN, It will also extend your overall PR application time. If your CRS is more than 410, I will advice you to forget it, cos you have a very high probability of getting ITA soon. My opinion

Good evening house, I have been following this thread but the rate at which the pages increases eh, e pass my power. I just recently joined the express entry pool and I got a message this evening that Ontario province would like to consider me under their PNP. 'If you want Ontario to consider you for nomination under its PNP you must contact Ontario directly after receiving this letter. Note that this letter of interest is not a guarantee that you will be nominated by Ontario. You will first have to satisfy Ontario that you meet the requirements of their program.' please who has received this kind of message and how do I contact the province. I appreciate your kind response. thanks
