I have a farm is is newly set up on 8 plots of land. About two plots is already used to erect a Poultry Pen House which is to be used to rear Poultry birds later. The remaining six plots is intended to be cultivated with Habanero pepper,Celosia argentia (Soko),African Spinach ( Tete),Okra Jute mallow ( Ewedu) and I also intend to establish Pawpaw fruits on the farmland. There are some few stands of Plantain already on the farm.
The farm is fenced round with about 6 coaches of blocks and it has a functional BOREHOLE..
Whoever is interested should have good agronomy knowledge of Habanero pepper farming and he should be living Ilese and Ijebu -Ode axis for easy farm as accessibility.

As you humbly requested for the cost and benefit analysis of 100 Pullet from day old.The information is as below:
Cost of 100 day old pullet presently is ₦1100 *100=₦110,000
Feeding :Wk1 - Wk3 (Super Chick Starter) 0.4kgof feed consumed * 3 = 40kg/25kg = 1.6 bags * ₦18500 ( price per bag) = ₦29,600
Feeding: WK 4 - 6 ( Chicks Mash), 0.7kg per bird * 100 = 70kg/25kg = 2.8 bags * ₦18500 = ₦51,800
Feeding: WK 7 - 9 ( Chicks Mash) 1.1kg of feed per bird * 100 = 110kg /25kg = 4.4 bags * ₦18,500 = ₦81,400
Feeding: WK 10 - 16 ( Grower Mash),3.3kg of feed per bird * 100 = 330kg /25kg = 13.2 bags * ₦18500 = ₦244,200
Feeding: WK 17 - 18 (Prelay), 1.1kg per bird * 100 = 110 kg /25kg = 4.4 bags * ₦18500 = ₦81400
Feeding: WK 18 - 20 (Prelay) 7baga* ₦18500 = ₦129,500
%age Mortality (5%) = 5
Expected remaining number of birds = 95
Expected cost of vaccination and medication:₦50,000
Note: Under good management practices,your Isa Brown should start laying by wèek 18 - 20 at a very low percentage which I am NOT capturing under this analysis.
But by wèek 21, the birds should be able to start catering for their feeding and drugs with no hassle and at this stage , you should be expecting them (100 birds in quote) to be consuming on the average of 115gramme /bird = 115g/1000g = 0.115kg /bird * 100 = 11.5kg. Let assume that a bag of layer mash is still ₦18500, therefore divide the value by 25 and then multiply it by 11.5 as thus (₦18500/25) * 11.5 = ₦8510 as the cost of feeding them on daily basis.
And for the output which is egg, the egg production curve is between 50 - 80 % which will keep rising till week 65 and then reduce a bit to 80% around week 80 while between week 81 - 90, the average egg laying pattern will fall back to between 50-65 % and this is the ideal time for you to sell them off as spent birds.
Coming back to eggs ,let assume that the average laying percentage with good management practices is 83%, therefore, on the average, you are suppose to be making the following income first without any deductions (85/100) * 95 = 80 eggs /30= 2.6 crates * ₦5000 ( farm gate price per crate) on daily basis . Note: This price can be more in your own area and it is NOT CONSTANT .
The sales amount to ₦13300 daily minus cost of production ,that is cost of feed ₦8510 = ₦4790 * 30 = ₦143,700
There are still more calculations, but let me stop here as I have proved to you that it worths it. And by the time, you consider your cost of setting up the business aside the building and other fixes assets, you will know that ₦110,000 is GUARANTEED per month.
IN ALL HONESTY, THIS INFORMATION I HAVE SHARED WITH YOU US PURELY PRACTICAL AND WITH A KNOWLEDGE GATHERED WITH ADEQUATE RECORD KEEPING.

The point you raised isn't clear enough. However,if you meant that all sorts of Poultry Businesses are money spinning businesses, believe me, you are sincerely right.

You know what? Poultry Egg Production is very lucrative irrespective of the quantity you are starting with.
I can assure you that ₦110,000 is guaranteed at minimum per month if you have 100 laying birds at 90% laying capacity .
