Seetto:Rubbish ... conspiracy nonsense from dopey trump and his looney right-wing party. Not worth my time. Do some research on the sustained assault on ISIS under Obama. Thanks to Obama, the Kurdish peshmerga and the PYD (Democratic Union Party) were given substantial military backing. These groups did most of the legwork that damaged and defeated ISIS. Trump eventually threw them under the bus to please his benefactor Putin. Hillary Clinton provides a historic narrative, dating back to the Russian-Afghan conflict in the 1970s/1980s. It’s no secret the West, under mostly American republican leadership, backed the mujahedeen with weapons and logistics. These groups may have evolved into the present day extremist fundamentalists, but how do you attribute cause to Obama and Hillary? That’s my question pls enlighten us |

afstrongest:Ranking is not a precise science. It involves a measure of subjectivity, fuelled by geopolitical perceptions. How a nation is perceived is down to factors like national leadership, developmental initiatives, military effectiveness/military industrial complex, fairness, respect and influence etc. Take a good look at Nigeria. Consider net perceptions of our citizens across Africa. Corruption and nepotism has eaten deep and rendered our military almost useless. Chad/Niger, all much smaller nations have a much more effective military and will attain a higher effectiveness perception soon if not already . The incompetent present national leadership has exacerbated this perception problem in substantial terms |

Let’s put it in context. Nigeria, as an entity, is systematically flawed. The ‘staying back to fix the country’ mantra is untenable and futile. Your positive influence is inconsequential. You are at the mercy of a recurring, selfish, incompetent and corrupt leadership at all levels. I was in a similar situation as the OP many many years back and forever thankful to God for making the right call. I migrated. Started from the bottom, odd jobs and all to fund my education. Two masters degrees from top universities and a decade in investment banking /technology in top global firms, I now run my own high tech firm. Here, what you become is what you make of yourself, your desire, your focus, your abilities. Unlike in Nigeria, you are not shackled by a backward, limiting system. In Nigeria, you may get to the top after many years, but can end up in abject want in a very short time. Zero social safety net. The negative factors are overwhelming- lack of security, healthcare, etc. Dude, I attest that I suffered 10 times more discrimination and harassment in Nigeria than I have here in the UK. These advanced societies are fairer, value oriented systems. You add value, you WILL thrive. The OPs dedication to education and self development is precisely what works here. You’ll be propelled to new heights with time and commitment. Steadily. You can contribute into Nigeria as a diasporian if you so desire through projects, which is precisely what I’ve done. The Nigeria of today has zero consideration for your tomorrow. I have run a number of models on Nigeria and can tell you it’s not looking good at all. The decline has been in precipitation for years, exacerbated by the present crop of incompetent and nepotistic leadership. It’s akin to a jog to the bottom. The far and near term prognosis for Nigeria is troubling and unflattering Be guided, not only for your sake, but for that of your children unborn |

Leave his house. Alternatively, can arrange a few soldiers /police come shake him up a bit on assault allegations. I am certain that will work. Just be prepared to vacate their house after this. Dude is a coward inside, picking on vulnerable people |
Slawormir:Grow up kid. Your childish comments so irritating. Muppet! |
