Jobs/VacanciesRe: NNPC Graduate Trainee Recruitment 2024 by Theguyisgood: 3:12pm On Feb 20, 2025
Lol. There is a reason I asked the question. And yes, I got in. Why I asked is that, I have always heard that the benefits or allowances are not usually stated in the offer. I currently have a good job that pays considerably well. so I would want to know the incentives that would make me leave one for the other

CareerRe: See Salary Of Entry Level Staffs Of Different Banks In Nigeria As At 2024 by Theguyisgood(op): 1:44pm On Jun 23, 2024
Like I said, it's for entry level staffs (I.e., core staffs) and not contract staffs. Although, there are staffs who get converted after some years working as a contract staff, and still work as Teller and Customer service. You can only get in as a core staff through their graduate trainee programs

heniford2:

CareerBankers in the house. Pls assist by Theguyisgood(op):
Hello everyone. I've got a question. This is majorly for bankers in the house.

So I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I got offers from both Stanbic IBTC and Wema bank and I don't know which to go for. The offer was to start training school after which when you pass, you become a full fledged staff of the bank.

There are lots of perks for the both banks
From what I heard.
Wema- heard their salary for an ET is 388k. They as well offer hybrid(only have to come thrice in a week) and lunch as well as other bonuses.

Stanbic- offers 511k for an ABO, (entry level staffs are given an ABO grade instead of the usual ET) there's staff bus and breakfast. No hybrid. There are as well other bonuses.

(Please note that I'm not 100% certain about the above.)

However my preference is not situated to just money. I want to know for career progression, which is better??

Also, there are some reservations I have about Wema, it's basically a bank built by Yorubas (I'm not a tribalist pls but it's just a factor one can't overlook). From their board of directors to the management, at least 95% of them are Yorubas.

Anyways. I'm just confused. Pls help. Thanks

I would want you guys to help me most especially people who are currently working there. I have just two days before I accept or reject the offer.

Your comments are appreciated.

Please Mod push this to front page.

(Also, I had to create a new account for this, didn't want to use my other account as I'm not so anonymous there)

Thank you. Available to answer all questions
