I want to share something I came across that I think will genuinely interest anyone who sells through WhatsApp or buys from vendors who do. A Nigerian platform called Buvvo is in its final stages before launch and from what I have seen, it is addressing something that has been a real pain point for online vendors in this country for years. Here is what Buvvo actually does. If you sell through WhatsApp, you already know the drill. You reply to the same "how much" message twenty times a day. You confirm payments manually. You type order updates one by one. You lose sales when you are offline or when a customer messages at 2am and you do not see it until morning. Buvvo is being built to handle all of that automatically. A vendor connects their WhatsApp Business number to Buvvo. From that point, Buvvo runs as their sales assistant inside WhatsApp. It replies to product questions instantly from the vendor's own catalog. It takes orders inside WhatsApp, collects customer details, sends a payment link through Paystack, and confirms payment automatically the moment it lands. No manual checking. No back and forth. The vendor wakes up to a dashboard showing completed, paid orders they did not have to process manually. But that is not the part that surprised me most. They are also building the Buvvo Marketplace. It is a public directory of verified Nigerian WhatsApp vendors, built directly into the Buvvo app. Buyers will be able to search for any product by category, name, or city and find a real, verified shop behind every result. One tap connects them to the vendor on WhatsApp. Think about how many times you have wanted to find a specific type of vendor in your city and had no reliable way to do it. No more searching hashtags. No more hoping the right post shows up at the right time. Just search, find, and chat. For vendors, every listing is SEO optimised, meaning your business can appear in Google search results when buyers in your city search for what you sell. Verified vendors get a badge that distinguishes them from unverified listings and appear in the Featured Shops section at the top of the marketplace. They are starting with Nigeria. Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Kano, Ibadan, and every city where WhatsApp commerce is already happening without proper infrastructure. A few things worth knowing: The waitlist is free and open right now at www.buvvo.ng Over 500 vendors have already signed up for early access and vendors who join early get founder-level pricing that will not be available after launch. They are also running a short survey for WhatsApp vendors. If you sell through WhatsApp, they want to hear about your experience and your answers are directly shaping what they build. The survey link is at www.buvvo.ng They also have five free tools already live for any Nigerian vendor, no account required: A WhatsApp Link Generator to make it easier for customers to reach you. A Price Calculator to help you set the right price every time. A Receipt Generator to send professional receipts in seconds. A Bio Link Page to put all your links in one shareable place. A Vendor Listing Page to get your business found online. All five are free at www.buvvo.ng You can follow them on social media for updates and launch announcements: Instagram: @buvvoapp TikTok: @buvvoapp Facebook: @buvvoapp LinkedIn: Buvvo I think this is one of the more interesting Nigerian tech products coming out this year because it is not trying to move vendors away from WhatsApp. It is building the infrastructure that WhatsApp commerce in Nigeria has always needed but never had. Worth keeping an eye on.

Stephen0mozzy:The domain has SSL propagated. There was a typo on the post, there was a fullstop at the end, I just edited the post and corrected it, thank you for helping me spot that out. 💚 |

FOR PC TECH, TWEAKS, TRICKS PLEASE VISIT http:///vD7O75HOW TO MAKE YOUR COMPUTER WELCOME YOU Do you watch movies? Have you always loved the way how Computers in movies welcome their users by calling out their names? I bet that you too would want to know how you can achieve similar results on your PC and have a computer said welcome. Then you are at the right place, this article describes exactly how you can make your computer welcome you like this. With this trick, you can make your Computer welcome you in its computerized voice. You can make your Windows based computer say "Welcome to your PC, Username." Make Windows Greet you with a Custom Voice Message at Startup To use this trick, follow the instructions given below:- Click on Start. Navigate to All Programs, Accessories and Notepad. Copy and paste the exact code given below. Dim speaks, speech speaks="Welcome to your PC, Username" Set speech=CreateObject("sapi.spvoice" speech.Speak speaks3. Replace Username with your own name. 4. Click on File Menu, Save As, select All Types in Save as Type option, and save the file as Welcome.vbs or "*.vbs". 5. Copy the saved file. 6. Navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup (in Windows XP) and to C:\Users\ {User-Name}\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup (in Windows 8, Windows 7 and Windows Vista) if C: is your System drive. AppData is a hidden folder. So, you will need to select showing hidden folders in Folder options to locate it. 7. Paste the file. Make your Computer Welcome you at startup Now when the next time you start your computer, Windows will welcome you in its own computerized voice. Note: For best results, it is recommended to change sound scheme to No Sounds. You can change the sound scheme to No Sounds by following the steps given below:- Go to Control Panel. Then click on Switch to Classic View. Then Click on Sounds and Audio Devices. Then Click on the Sounds Tab. Select No Sounds from the Sound Scheme option. If you wish to save your Previous Sound Scheme, you can save it by clicking Yes in the popup menu. Click on OK. Change Sound Scheme to No Sounds Try it yourself to see how it works. In my personal opinion, this is an excellent trick. Whenever I start my PC in front of anybody and the PC welcomes me, the fellow is left wondering how brilliant a computer do I have. And incase you come across any problem while doing this, do not hesitate to comment...... |
