I am applying for a Visitors Visa for the first time, and I would like to know if I can apply for two years straight away. I have previously obtained a Tier 4 student visa and studied in England in the past.

Yes he can, but he would need evidence to show that the ECO made a mistake. He should email the refusal to the school straight away. They will advise him if he has a case. Also has your friend schooled in the UK before? He could argue that he schooled there before and came back, so why the ECO would assume different this time is beyond me. Hope this helps

Sorry to hear about the rejection, but I think you need to specify exactly what question you need answers to. Are you considering an Admin Review? Also why did your friend have two interviews?

Ah.. That is why they warned that if you have not booked a super priority appointment don't purchase the service.
As it is now... I suggest you call the TLS centre and explainp the situation, if anything can be done they will let you know.

I think I might have put standard now that you mention it. Oh my God am I stuck with standard now? I thought we were to pay for that on the tls site. Please help, thank you in advance

During your *normal visa application*, you will get to a stage (appointment booking) where you will be asked to select the type of visa service you are going to use, if you didn't select super priority then you can not purchase the service from the tls centre website. After completing the normal appliaction you can go ahead to purchase the added value service from the tls website.
When you start the application process you will get it.

Hello everyone! If one is paying for the super priority processing, do they also have to pay for super priority appointment? "You should not purchase this service if you have not booked a Super Priority Visa service appointment." That is written on the website and has confused me. Thanks in advance again for all your help

In 2013 I was refused a visa due to an error by the ECO. I appealed and was subsequently issued a visa. Do I put this down as a visa refusal in the section where it asks for any previous visa refusals? Thanks in advance

Good morning everyone, I am yet to apply for visa as my school have not yet updated my CAS showing that my tuition has been paid. They are saying it might take a week and the resumption date is the 25th of September. Im starting to get worried and was wondering if anyone paid the super priority and how long did they take to get a response. Thanks in advance

Sorry I have not been on the forum in a while, I got my passport/visa today I was very happy! I submitted my admin review form myself on the 3rd of september in abuja and collected today. So the whole process took me 22days. My school helped me speak to the BHC to get it fast tracked, so try and ask yours to help you as well they can really speed things up. Hope this was helpful

No I just filled the form and wrote a letter explaining why I thought they made a mistake with my application. I don't think you are allowed to resubmit any documents or to submit new ones.

My school also heled me and contacted the British Council to plead my case. Hope this is helpful.

justwise: Definitely a good sign.

If you can print a new one do that else submit the old one, submitting a new one shows that you haven't touched the money...that you still have your money available since you were refused.

riteaide: If you have indeed paid all your fees and the ECO refused your application by claiming you didn't pay anything, I would suggest that you immediately send them an email apart from the administrative review and bring their attention to it quickly. They cannot just be making decisions without properly checking through documents. Send an email to the embassy. Also call them and let know instead of dashing them another application fee.. This is just wrong

No, with admin review you are not allowed to submit any document to support your case, you can only state your case in writing.

justwise: Review takes time, reapplying will be much quicker and a note attached pointing out this ECO's terrible mistake, review will take you more than 2months.

You can print another bank statement, email your school immediately to get 2wks extension, in your email to the school attach the refusal letter.

Thank you for your response, my school are saying that they won't re-issue a CAS if its the ECO's mistake. They are the ones who insisted on the admin review. I'm still lobying them to re-issue it though as I think re-applying would be faster aswell. Would my failure to re-submit documents from my original application affect my review? Thanks again
