Very far cry from the cosmic Epicness in the Original movie... Which is rather disappointing since the story is a continuation of the movie

So, you expect them to spend huge on just CGI for those 2 episodes?

The irony is that, the message was sent and people loved the show which trended all through Sunday-Monday.

It is a huge hit that people praised when compared to the movie that most people didn't understand or remember what happened even with all the expensive spectacular CGI on Dr Manhattan.

According to Snyder, it is actually 5hrs+ long, but he reduced it to 3.5hrs (214mins).

This is still very long.

The Irishman is also 3.5hrs long and according to report, only 18% of the subscribers that tuned to watch it, finished the film.

That's the huge disadvantage of long movies.

Will Synder learn, well, we have to wait for AOTD to see.

The same people bad mouthing it are indirectly helping DC to do free publicity.

They talked bad about Aquaman, and Joker and we know how it turned out.

BOP's break even point is $200m based on its $70m budget.

I see this movie making $600m+ in BO. If it gets a China release date, it might make more.

We also seem to forget that Harley Quinn is one of the most popular characters in the DC universe. People will troop out to support the character.

It also being R rated will even make people come out to watch it as a lot are tired of PG13 movies and will need something different.

So, as long as the story is good, acting is good, cinematography is good with 2hrs
short run time, this movie will be a massive success

Thank you! How can someone be employed to do nothing? Just because Nolan and Snyder weren't captured on set doesn't mean they did nothing.

Synder is not employed as executive producer, rather he is mentioned/recognized/honoured as as executive producer because of his previous work in the DCEU and since The Batman will be tied to it and some of Snyder's previous work, he will be recognized as an executive producer.

That doesn't mean he has an input in the current movie. He will be paid as an executive producer because of his previous work. It is in his contract, and WB will have to honor that.

An executive producer doesn't have any say or influence in the movie.

The position is more of an acknowledgement for his previous work in casting, building the universe (DCEU), and his previous films which the Batman movie will be connected to

UPDATE: Zack synder is the executive producer of The Batman movie directed by Matt Reeves.

This to me is an indication that this movie is fully connected to the DCEU.

Let me make myself a bit clearer. When I was talking about waves riding, I wasn't talking about awards or anything, I meant popular movies discussion. It just like someone remembering Shazam came out this year

And moreover, I never saw endgame winning Oscar award for best picture or other major awards even right from when I first saw it, I think I said it here sef. Disney was just shooting their shot.

Netflix really suprised me tbh...they had everybody writing them off cos of these new platforms but they are real juggernauts

I just hope other streaming giants like Amazons, Apple+ or Peacock does same and give the people great content, because so far they haven't done much like netflix

But to be honest, this year's oscar competition is really big.

So many top movies came out this year that other top movies like Rocketman, ALita (for vfx) are getting ignored.

To win just an oscar award will be huge win sef.

Kudos to Netflix for spending big as they have 3 movies contending for major oscars awards

Before they say the Buzz for Joker is dying down.
