Israel did not attack anyone. They were on their own when Hamas struck them. They were on their own when hizbollah struck them. The Israelis are averse to war. They have been seeking peace with the Arabs for a long time sadly there are some Arabs like Hamas, Hizbollah, Islamic Jihad and the rest who want nothing but the total annihilation of Israel which no nation would stand for.
