I don't know what else to tell my mum just to let her understand that I get bored wen ever I'm around crowd of people and I'm an introvert..

I'm currently 26yrs,and all my life, I've been to just 1 burial and just 1 marriage.
Despite the fact I lived alone,my mum always call me wen ever there's occasion either in the village or in the neighborhood were I grew up here in yenagoa..

My phone has been switched off since on Thursday,bcuz I heard of burial of sum1 I knew,and I know she must call me to attend the burial and I'm not ready to go...

To cut the long story short,plz my fellow nairalanders,Wat will u do in dis situation if u were in my shoes.

Don't worry, very soon you will know the importance of attending others people's burial and parties.

I am just shedding tears. I have always said this entity of a country is inherently evil and I just don't know why. It's as if the foundation of the country was founded on wickedness and everything evil.
Just look at what this evil entity did to this man. They robbed him of his childhood, parents and Sanity. These are invaluable things that can never be replaced.
People have to take responsibility for this evil. The policemen that did this are probably retired but the deed from their wickedness lives on.
The thought that there are so many cases like this of people languishing in jail without trial shudders me.
Everything is truly wrong with this country.

You don't know the average Nigerian is naturally wicked? We only show empathy towards another if and only if it affects us directly. If it doesn't we just don't care. Shebi children as young as 2 yrs are in the forest and yet our government has not declared a state of emergency and launched a manhunt for the kidnappers. They are more interested in reelection. The ogun state government even organized a festival at a time like this. Many of us are just plain horrible.
What annoys me about this one is that he was just trying to shift blame to the child forgetting it was his car that hit the child. He only became concerned because he realized he might be liable to the accident. I just imagine how someone that reason like this would be in real life.

I don't know what you guys are bothering yourselves for. I told you you will see all these missing monies during next year's snatch, grab and run operations .

So, last week, I was involved in an accident with my new car. The victim, a boy of about 10 years laid lifeless on the road. Though it wasn't my fault but that a story for another day...

At first I thought it's just an accident, maybe if the boy dies, the parents will now carry him and burry. And maybe at worst, it's a bad name, people could be suspecting me of murder... Anyways their opinion I thought. After all it's not my fault .


But then something struck me. I have no driving license! That's when I realized I could be in for a long thing. How can I clear myself at the police station. I could be charged for murder and I will be doing a prison term for it.

At that moment, I started sweating profusely. I realized a single act of negligence (failing to get a driving license) could land me in serious trouble.

But then, my African instinct came in, a consolation I thought. I said to myself, if this boy dies, I will be going straight to a driving school that promised to help me process my driving license and get it instantly at any cost. With that my offense could be dismissed as just an accident.

Well, lucky me, I took the boy to the hospital and he survived. Drove home and grounded the car. Moved straight to the driving school to process the license. To my greatest surprise, they only gave me an enrollment form to fill that day and told me the process will be continued after 26 working days!!!
I was like "sir, is there no way to fast track this?" He said no way. That was when I realized there is no shortcut to freedom had the boy died from the accident. Well, I'm still patiently waiting to continue the processing and get a valid license. Though I drive the car once in a while but I'm extremely cautious. And I pray my chi will see me through.


Lawyers in the house, what do you think would have been my punishment??

You would have gone to jail for manslaughter and from what you wrote up there you would really have deserved it. You didn't care a life was almost lost as a result of your carelessness. All you were just doing was trying to absolve yourself of any blame. You are heartless.
