Reminds me of what happened to me yesterday. I went to the market to repair something I bought from the same man. A man that had been a constant in that market ever since I started going there. A very young and vibrant man I discussed with just a few weeks back. When I approached his shop I discovered it was locked and when I got closer to this man's door what greeted me to my consternation was his Obituary poster. I was shocked and lost for words. I found out he suddenly took Ill and died suddenly. He will be buried today. Haaaaa.... This world is one mysterious place we cannot understand. May Gd help us all.

I have experienced this in the north several times. It's not pretty. Suddenly the whole cloud turns rusty brown/ Orange and then boom, it hits hard. Visibility is lost. It can last several hours.
The north is usually exposed to whether extremes. If it rains, it's a horror, if the sun shines you can turn to charcoal if you don't take shelter . If the harmattan cold hits you, you think you are in Siberia as no amount of winter jacket or gloves, jeans and head covers can save you from the early morning cold. I remember I used to warm myself under the morning sun for about 30 mins to an hour before I became normal again . But I enjoyed the experience.
