It is greed and ignorance. Aka "I want it sharp sharp and now now now".

@OP: If you are not from a wealthy family, forget anything undergraduate outside Nigeria, even if it is Ghana or South Africa.
Any reason for your opinion?

Check your input very well....there could be an error from your input.

If your input is actually correct, then it might just be a technical issue. So, you have to keep trying.
Okay, thanks a lot

I'll keep trying
The network has been really poor today, maybe because of the rain.

Okay, it's a good thing being hear, well-done to everyone making a thread readable and memorable.
May God help us all! Amen!

I've read through some previous pages so I like to raise my issue since I didn't come across any similar one or maybe I skipped it. Pardon me please.

I've a B.Eng in Nigeria in 2012, married with kids, now. My plan is mainly to migrate for greener pasture Vai the study route, so, I came up with the idea of academic switch from Engineering to Healthcare (Nursing).

I'm looking at applying for a nursing course either a 1 year diploma course to help prepare adequately so I can have a profine idea on the exact field or area to major into after the 1 year period. Now within the 1year diploma programme I would have been able to settle down moderately before bringing my family to join me. Sounds like a brilliant plan, yeah! But, man proposes, God disposes.

Now, this is where I need advice, I've 3 countries in mind, UK, Canada and Australia but after research I dropped UK and Canada to non dependants policy and low chances of getting a visa respectively.

I'm currently considered Australia, NZ and Ireland.

Please which of these countries will be more easy with high chance of getting a visa, job opportunity during study because I need this to carryout other plans for family relocation and cheapest means.

Your input is highly appreciated.

@GraduatesGrant,

Kindly share the WhatsApp link, I am interested in joining the group.

Many thanks
Great idea but I don't think it's best especially for those who will come much later in the future and will need this information as guild. The best is to have everything done here on the thread.

Take for instance I just joined this thread and I've been reading comments and reviews from some pages back, all the pages are archives of information that will never be lost for many years to come. So why limit such information to WhatsApp alone.

Even for those joining the WhatsApp group much later they won't see previous messages so what then is the need for it as you'll have to repeat over and over again on what you've already mentioned.

So I would suggest all WhatsApp groups should be dismantled.

Hello experts in the house, I want to go study nursing, I already have a B.Eng in Nigeria. My dream is to go study nursing abroad and have a better life for my self and my family. I've plans of bringing my family (wife and kids) to join me maybe after one year.

I've thought about Canada and Australia as options. Reading through some pages of travel sections on Canada I'm kinda getting worried with the rate of rejections after money and time spent, so, this is where I need advice.

Considering the cost of Canada or Australia, which other country can come in that will serve the same dream and but cheaper and easy with 95% assurance of granting a visa on a single try.

Please if you have any country in mind kindly suggest or drop your opinion.

So, I did my capturing yesterday at Ibadan Immigration Office.

Applied for renewal on 29th August after I read about the increase and made payment on 30th August. My application was approved and VETTED on 17th September (quite long), probably because I was renewing for 10 yrs. My initial passport is 5 yrs. Another reason might be because my passport hasn't entered six months to expiration (Na there I take scam Dem, shebi Dem wan scam Nigerians grin).

I wasn't in a hurry, so I didn't go for capturing until October 2nd. When I got there and told them what I came for, I was directed to the waiting area. I just sat there hoping that someone will come attend to us (a very big mistake I made!). I finally stood up and went to SERVICOM and the man I met there was not happy with how I was treated. He directed me to where I'd be attended to. I went there submitted my documents but by the time it was my turn for capturing it was past their closing time. Even when someone begged on my behalf they started to look for faults in my application, because I put place of birth as Agege Lagos instead of Lagos. This was a very minor issue that they could correct, but no they wanted to extort me for it and I refused.
I had to come back the next day again (that's yesterday). Lucky I met their boss and he explained that my info wasn't all that accurate, which I acknowledged but he didn't know that his people wanted to extort me. Finally, he said I should wait in line for capturing.
They did their thing and I did my capturing. I was handed a slip with my enrollment number. I tipped the officer that directed me to their Oga 1k and asked him when I should come back for the passport, and he said it should be ready by December.

DIY is the way o
Don't let anyone intimidate you but make sure your details are accurate, otherwise they'll use that as an avenue to extort or punish you.

This is Nigeria!
Hello everyone

Pls can you assist me with the full process on how I can DIM? I have never had an Int'l passport before so it's my first time.

How much is it?
I live in Lagos, where do you suggest will be faster and more convince with less queue and stress to get it done.

Pls your input is needed.

Thanks

What's your wife's opinion in all of these?

You forgot to mention the age range as on NL, women above 30 are to be avoided and women with the money you want are over 30.

You said we're writing negative comments, would you allow your daughter marry a married man who wants to leverage on her for his success of which you laid the foundation for her success as her father.
I already stated a few qualities I look out for and I want to believe they're not ridiculous. Ago is nothing but just a number. If you see me F2F you will never believe I'm even 35. I look way younger and physically fit, not that I do regular exercises, no, it's just naturally.

Sis, I've read through a few of your page, this is what you may be doing for a living (maybe blogging) but I've seen you're very active on every topic on NL, I am not that kind of person who have the time luxury to engage people online, so if I may ask, how are you so concerned or irritated about my post? Or are you stylishly interested?😂

Every adult is entitled and responsible to their own decisions and opinions in life. So what's your business with Regina Daniels or Lady Bianca getting married to a man over 40yrs old enough to be their father?

Rich dudes pick women from poor backgrounds as wife, the people don't talk or whisper but when the rich lady accepts the poor dude, you the people call him a gold digger. Like, really!!!

The world is changing, people get divorced and go remarry, at age 50, 70, 80 years of age to new spouse... Men marry older women, women marry older men (norms) but who tagged it normal... The society.

Your decision, your life.
My decision, my life

Don't expect any response to your questions from me because I've none to side talkers, I will only give the right answers to that special person who will accept me for who I am.

I opened the skeleton cupboard so I don't get judged for hiding anything.

Love is not blind, it can be intoxicating but don't be blinded to the information you're opened to.

So how come they're reporting 10 persons, why can't journalist be truthful for once or is UBA and United Capital the same company?
