So someone can't post on nairaland and actually get advice |
Hello everyone, I want to buy this car. I've already finalised the deal. But I remembered I can ask questions to get a feeling of this business I am about to venture will be profitable. I am currently in Lagos, and I am looking to start a courier service with this bus at the island. Carrying goods, helping people move/Relocate etc. Please if you've had this type of bus before, what are the things I need to look out for? Can it travel long distances? How is the fuel consumption Also is it a good side hustle, if you're into this? Your ideas will help me alot to make the best decision.

EKOMADENG:No death is avoidable because we can't control what happens next or around us. You can be very careful but, a car will fail brake and hit you from the back and it's death. The only way death could be avoidable is if we are able to see the outcome of our death |
thesicilian:did you see me mention to him that he should not believe in water he wants? Tha you believe in whatever you want doesn't mean that it's right. And doesn't also mean you have to believe in what is right. You can choose to keep kidnapping people even when talked to 100 times about the consequences. Yet the kidnapper will never stop |
You Will Not Die Before Your Time, I Pray 🙏
Prayers doesn't do anything. It's over speeding, lack of awareness and bad luck that causes these things. No amount of prayer can save anyone who doesn't know how to swim, yet jumps into a deep pool of water, if there is no life jacket or anyone there, no amount of prayer can save that person No Amount of prayer can save anyone who is driving at speed 250mph/hr on a rainy slippery road, but driving at 60 speed and a touch of luck is what saves. Have a nice day |
Aboki99:your current president is a drug lord also. Nigeria a country of drug infested corrupt people |
Nonsense If government is the one dealing with drugs, it's legal, but once you do it, it becomes illegal. Government of selfishness. If government exports oil, it becomes legal, but if you do, it becomes illegal. If you buy a land from the government it becomes legal and yours, but once oil or natural resources is discovered on your land, it becomes illegal and no longer your land. Ask yourself where Are they taking all these drugs they seize? Dey play Government is just a group of people using the security to enrich themselves |
WesKiz:once you're dead you're dead. There is no place to go except the ground where you will decay and people will forget you. Know this and know peace |
Arrowhead71:first it's simple, we need to start from the foundation, which is our children. We have a lot of lies and miseducation about religion. You don't learn left hand at an old age. The government can start from schools, from kindergarten, teach them that prayers do not bring money. Teach them there is no God anywhere overseeing what we do but the government and if they do bad they go to prison. Teach them that there is a criminal called Jesus who came to die for the sinners, meaning they can sin and Jesus will always forgive them. Teach them that humans are not created but born. I mean, if you have a one on one communication with me, you'll understand better. I'm not explaining myself well here |
WesKiz:you have been brainwashed. That's why your lives are all backwards. There is no Allah, there was never any Muhammad, the Arabs came and enslaved your people, forced you blacks to believe in their nonsense |
Both Islam and Christianity should be abolished from this country. Fake religions, |
Fearurcreeator:you actually know him, it I mention his name. |
Fearurcreeator:I pay more tax than you do. Also my dad has commissioned more projects than your father could ever |
PressMyButton:just shut the f up. He is donating with whose money? What job is Seyi Tinubu doing? I'm very sure it's his father that built this thing and told him to commission it for it to look like he built. You're comparing obi with Seyi, you should be comparing obi and your father. What has your father achieved and donated? But obi has donated and achieved a lot. Silly noise makers |
Draggun:lol, you wouldn't want to have that argument with me. Started freelancing since 2019, made alot of money from freelancing but it's not stable. Unless you're fully employed remotely. If it's just freelance, you can go for 2months no single client. |
![]() THELATTERMAN:I will not advice you to move to Abuja if you don't have a job. Bro, prices of house hold are very expensive. If you still stay with you parents and under 30, I will advice you to stay there ooo. Learn a skill that earns money, and make sure you have upto 6million before trying another state. You need to get a stable job oo. Freelancing is not stable. |
phyya:oh, it's not only at Ajah they are doing it, but your area was well? Mods what's up this is a serious matter. |
doggedfighter:the thing tire me |

So I entered his blenco mall at Addo road Ajah. Only to discover that these guys removed price tags for all their items. I was shocked because I have never in my life witnessed such a thing. When I asked one of the workers, she said that the management told them to remove price tags, that prices of items are Increasing so they removed price tag. And I asked her, so prices of items are increasing every second. I was so dissatisfied and was very angry that we Nigerians are the one doing ourselves. Recently Lagos State government started cracking down on supermarket not fixing price tags in june 2024. They should go and seal up blenco and fine them huge money, maybe that will set a standard for people trying to milk and cheat others I bought toilet roll for 750 per one at blenco, same toilet role I priced at the street , small aboki seller which is going for 250 naira but because I can't see price I paid for it without checking. How can we report this?

Hello, people of Nairaland. I am in the middle of starting a business and investment plan. I have gotten my company name and I am now ready to register at C.A.C. However this is where I am confused. I want to start an oil production firm and a video production company and I am also in the process of bread production. I want each of these companies I am running to have their own separate names but under one general brand name either the ''Holding or Corporations''. I am still a small business, and I am looking to run away from tax if possible or where I can pay the least, I also need where I can invest money that doesn't accumulate tax as I heard online that holdings can do that. but I don't know how Nigeria's laws work on these. So any Help, advice or input no matter how small will be appreciated. thanks Mods please help get more Audience, as I cant see any answers for this here |
dawnomike:bro,I'm coming back to this post. Which Chinese restaurant would you recommend in Lagos? |
myspace:oh, I didn't even know there is something else hidden. The north should never let it slide |
Good. Since it's like this, let's the southeast states come together to build ports, so they can decongest Lagos. Solido should now focus on building port fro Anambra so all Igbos can come back to east to grow their States. |
ayoolataiwo:lol, someone that will be kept in a flat, with AC. The only difference Is he won't leave the compound, but he won't even feel he is in custody. |
Nnpcc shouldr release their own at 900, let the competition begin |
DyshApp:simps, are talking. If you listen to your wife, that's where you'll remain poor. Some men took the best decisions of their life until they married to a woman. Women are not logical like men, that is why they are always poor, the only thing they can sell is their body. Imagine taking advice from a woman who has never seen 1million in her life, taking financial advice from her? Some men are just simps nothing more. How many women is their 20 to 30 years were able to build a house, buy a car and start up a business? But you as a man you did all that, and still brought a liability home to be feeding her just because you want to have babies. Na the person who brought that nonsense addage" behind every successful man is a woman" needs to be sentenced to death, I'm sure it's a woman who said that to make it seems they have impact in a man's life. "Behind every successful man is all night of thinking, is all day of hardworking, is all night of borrowing money for business and planning how to pay it back. Behind every successful man, is all week of hard labour, carrying cement, behind every successful man is all day of saving money, depriving himself of instant pleasure for his tomorrow. There is no woman who can make a man rich, instead they will always take from you. You can't plant what you don't have. |
Okortor:respect is earned not given. I don't care if you're a military general or whatever nonsense. If you don't command respect, you won't get it. Why will a so called general be hitting someone? Why will an adult, come down to play with kids. I keep telling Nigerians, if by any chance any military man hits, you, Omo, if you can knock them out with one punch, do it immediately. There power no reach to fight you. If they feel you did anything wrong, they should arrest you, and take you to the police and charge you to court. The moment there is a hit, Omo, if you have anything hit them back, it's self defence |
Kushites:bro, it's not about given two years to mature, are they doing it? Tell me one good project that this government started after removing subsidy and is using the subsidy money to do it, before we can consider giving that project few years. Just name one that is a major problem now for use, either electricity, having a new refinery etc. Name it pls? |
Kushites:paying back which loans? Senate just approved a new loan of 2.2billion usd. The so called subsidy they stopped, what have we seen the money used for? Even ordinary electricity the grid is collapsing back to back, and they can't declare emergency of it. It's better we go back to paying subsidy, than taking of the money and seeing no other impacts, yet still borrowing |
MrPresident1:just like the way you have been mentality enslaved by the white people, that you foregone your tradition and root to be carrying bible and talking jargons. |
