Though I don already japa, no amount of pay can make me want to go back to Nigeria and stay permanently.

For now, I prefer visiting and when I decide to relocate back to Nigeria, it will be to the project I am working on and it will not involving someone paying me salary......a mental health related training institution.
are you a software engineer?

Politics / Re: Enugu: Appeal Court dismisses Edeoga's petition, Affirms PDP's Mbah As Governor by TheOldGods: 4:43pm On Nov 11, 2023
Orinechi:
NYSC didn't say MBA didn't serve. What they say was that his certificate was not signed by them. The question becomes: Is it the responsibility of a corp member to know whether the signature in his certificate is fake or not? When u served, if u have, do u know who signed your certificate
that's same thing we talking about, that you served or not. As long as you go and get another certificate that is not the original certificate from Nysc. It's Forgery and since Nysc came out openly to say that they never signed or gave out that certificate. It doesn't matter anymore if mbah served or not. Submitting a document that didn't come from the original institution regardless if you served or not is a criminal offence and is punishable by law. The certificate has a certificate number, It doesn't matter if Nysc signed, as long as the certificate number doesn't in anyway match any certificate issued by them, is forgery. For the fact that Nysc brought the original certificate that was supposed to be issued, is Forgery. For the fact that Nysc tendered a book where " original copy collected by me" is empty and no signature of mbah, or his writing inputting "Original signature collected by me is forgery. Regardless of he claimed he went for service, by not authenticating the result by actually signing out , which shows the result was taken by him is forgery. Mbahs, lawyers are just daft. But I know supreme will do the right thing.

Was he mobilized in the first place to serve? If yes, NYSC is just being mischievous
oh, so if you're mobilized to serve and then you don't serve only to wait it out and get a fake certificate and use it for Nysc, but because you're mobilized to serve, then you are free for forge a certificate? All of you ar just the same.

are you mad or something. Imagine someone steals your bank cheque, and signs your signature, takes your Money and you go to court, and court says bank can't prove that they are the original people that made the cheque and you can't prove your signature. Or you have a shop and you have reiept, and someone comes into your shop and claims he bought something from you. You told him to bring reiept and he brings it. But you crosscheck with yours and you see there are two different things including the signature. But court now says, you can't prove that the receipt was fake. Please, who else will prove it if not you. Omo Nigeria is so corrupt I can't stand this any longer

there is a difference between condemning the money used and what it was for. He said, that since it was official vehicle from the govt, rejecting it because you're in labour party is stupid cause regardless of you accept or not, it has been bought for your office, so it will either be packed and Roth, which makes no sense. Now, he is saying that the money used to get the cars are way too much. Why would such a budget be used on cars while our hospital's are not okay. Bro leave tribal mentality, what he said is the truth. These are two different things

I saw the details of his defence too, you can search for it online, they brought exhibits that showed that nysc does not have a fool proof database.
Nysc brought their registry where he was supposed to sign out, that registry is till open and his signature was never there. And even as of today, that registry is till available, can be seen by anyone. He was supposed to sign out, how can you not sign out and collect certificate? Apart from that that time he was doing Nysc was when he got appointment as Enugu chief of staff, automatically that alone disqualifies you from doing Nysc as you can't be a politician and be in Nysc. Bro let's be honest court in Nigeria now is a joke. Soon people won't obey court orders cause we can see that a judge can give judgement based on sentiments and whatever he or she gets in her bank account

Coldie:
Poor education is what's affecting Nigeria, the verdict says nysc did not prove that he did not serve, but nysc just declared his certification fake without any cause of evidence that it's fake.

They gave nysc enough chance and time to prove that it's fake nysc did not.

But here are poorly educated human beings declaring that the judges were bribed just like that
NYSC in responses filed in the Abuja court, submitted documentary proofs that point to a possible case of forgery against the Enugu State governor.

A deposition at the Federal High Court, Abuja, taken from the Assistant Director in the Corps Certification Department, Mrs. Rhoda Dawa, revealed that the discharge certificate that Governor Mbah claimed was issued to him did not emanate from the NYSC.

Documents submitted to the court by the NYSC to prove that the Enugu State governor may have submitted a forged discharge certificate include the alleged forged certificate Mbah submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission, a photocopy of the original copy of the certificate that was to be issued to Mbah, a date sheet showing where discharged corps members signed for their certificates, another data sheet with the names of unclaimed certificates, official circulars authorising the destruction of unclaimed certificates, photographs of the incineration of the unclaimed discharge certificates, samples of the NYSC discharge certificates during the period the governor was supposed to have performed his compulsory national service, Police and Department of State Services’ letters of investigation, among others.

How can you say the original issuer of the document say the document is fake and you're doubting them. Okay now look at what they provided. Now bro, judge this case now.

Soon people will start disobeying court orders because we have seen it is a mere joke and the highest bidder

The way some of yoj rush and open threads to asslick those that are oppressing you is really baffling.

With the damage the bad economic policies of the government has done to the finances of Nigerians, one would think every Nigerian now knows where the problem is coming from.

This patch patch solution of dumping dollars into the Nigerian fx market is only a one-week solution to a decade-long problem.

How long can the f
Government keep dumping dollars? Instead of them to improve power generation and distribution, create a good environment for export of Nigerian goods, and ensure local refineries work, they are dumping dollars.

I hope you aren't disappointed when dollar starts to rise again
Money is being pumped to save dollars, yet dollar is at 970 as if today, I just sold one. As against 500 it was abi 700. They are pumping money, but not making money actually, so what happens when the pumped money finishes? Since we don't earn it? Dollar will then skyrocket. APC is just a failure simple.

Politics / The President Shouldn't Appoint Inec Chairman And Chief Justice by TheOldGods: 11:52am On Oct 28, 2023
Nigerians we need to stand up and pass this at the house of rep. We have the power of Nairaland and Social Media to get our views seen by millions.

For a fair Nigeria and better electoral process, I strongly believe that the president should never have a hand in appointing the Inec chairman or any Inec representative at all. Inec is an independent body and so they should choose between them selves via an election.. and also the inec chairman should be retired by the board and never by the president. Including the chief justice
Same as the chief justice, our Constitution should be really amended on these.

What do you think?

His selfishness made pdp loose hand down, instead for them to rally round behind a candidate from south east extraction, even if he fails, it would have far better than Atiku from the north to fail, Tambuwa was talking foolishly and selfishly then, ......we must have govt before we talk of tribe,.....it's only Atiku that can face APC blabla.

After election, their eyes clear that Atiku led Obi by little margin.

Anyway, now that his eyes, together with Okowa and Tambuwa have clear now, maybe they wait for another 8 years, and before 8 years, would PDP still be main and strong opposition? Time would tell.

The golden opportunity they had during Buhari time, which they failed to utilized maximally, will they have it during Tinubu? I doubt.
exactly imagine obi 6 million plus votes plus pDp core followers 6 million votes if only Atiku rallied and supported Peter obi. Tinubu wouldn't have seen his back.
