Fellow nairalanders on this Mercedes thread. I really need your advice. I made a huge mistake buying EOD honda and i have sold it already. It's been one problem to another. I am a low salary earner but this car really dealt with me. Almost every week, it's mechanic shop. Though I was adviced by a friend that works with Coscharis to buy Mercedes that though it's expensive to maintain but maintenance and repair is not an every day thing. Or if I am not too comfortable with the Mercedes, I should just stick to Toyota but he would NEVER advice me to buy any honda. I wish I listened. But that's history now! I want the Mercedes now, though I'm looking for a W203 C class 2002 to 2005 models or should I just go for Toyota products ( Camry or Corolla ). I don't want to experience wat I went through with that honda. Really need your advice. |

Trafford: I have had the overheating issue resolved. Gasket wasn't even the problem. After changing the gasket, the overheating still persist until he removed the AC condenser in front of the radiator. According to him, the condenser is damaged n is supposed to be see through which is currently not. The technician explained that d fan was suppose to suck d hot air inside the engine out(as explained by someone here earlier) but as d condenser is blocked, suction became difficult. I don't know how true it was but all I can say it, the issue has been resolved and no more overheating. I hope this little explanation will help someone here. Yours was better you had it fixed. I had to change the complete engine when my own overheating issue became so rapant and annoying. |

GAZZUZZ: I'm sure your mechanic installed it for free? No he didn't. I only told him the amount I bought the gasket as against the 10,000 he said his mechanic said it will cost for each... Meaning, he will still get charged for workmanship |

I just got Honda Accord 2005 with V6 engine, double exhaust. What is the does and don't to make it last long. Also which engine oil is the best and also transmission fluid. I love this ride and would want it to last for me. Also there's engine needs service light showing on the dashboard. But my cousin said, it doesn't matter as because he uses 2003 Honda Accord. Is it true that the warning sign there doesn't matter?
Please I need your response... Pro in the house @ Gazzuzz @ adanny01 @ nas00 @ luvinhubby |
