This is a real concern.
It is similar to many life issues for a new believer for which you may not find explicit detail in the bible addressimg it directly. The marriage is obviously challenged with distance and for the health of the union, they may need to consider if the hubby's continued stay abroad is worth more than the marriage.
1. A Good conscience: If her heart(Conscience is part of this) is already condeming the act ot is sinful! I John 3:20-21 NKJV
*For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God.*
2. The Help of The Holy Spirit produces Self Control. Not by will power, but this is the higher order of living to which The Lord Jesus Said... with men it may be impossible but not with God. For with God, ALL things are possible!
