Risky, short term play. Momentum still suggests more pain. Your Jan call out sent me down a rabbit hole and kept my Spider senses at high alert - thank you. Agbalowomeri: For Short-term trades in the banks; Price action shows Hammer yesterday

We are also likely to see an EPS decline across board as the quarterly results trickle in. I don go queue for November again 😂 |

For example, what is the % of the NGX Banking in the ASI.

Valid. These scenarios may well happen to the global market, given the unpredictable nature of Trump but the initial poster referred to the NGX specifically. The peculiarities of NGX ought to be factored in when suggesting a rug pull of 20% for the ASI. I trade what I see not what I want to see. Contrarians are right when they are, the challenge is the timing. Trend following is a safer bet. Bovis: Could be falling oil prices due to slowdown in Chinese economy leading to lower global demand and excess supply caused by the drill baby drill pledge by president Trump |

Momentum is still to the upside given the regulatory environment. Will bank bears seize control as they did in the first half of 2024 or bid their time for the second half this time? Agbalowomeri: Means bank bears is around the corner in the coming months

Technical Analysis: All 3 issues have been resolved over the past two trading days since this post. Despite this volume spike, still doesn't mean it is liquid but something is happening there. Soon the FA folks will tell us the 'why'. Do with this information what you will. thesilentone: Technical analysis for BETAGLASS:
Weeklies: Resistance 67 Major Resistance: 75.40 Above all relevant MAs MAs rising Volume spike in December Significant changes of board members including new CEO (Catalyst might be earnings results like NAHCO?)
Negatives Lack of Liquidity is an issue. Volume increase not commensurate with price increase Breakout already happened - pullback necessary for best entry No insider trading
Verdict: Imperative that it closes above 67 for trend confirmation. A pullback after this, a digestion and then a push for 75.40 would be ideal. Volume needs to be significantly improved.
Not on my radar. |

Not a criticism but this image is not an analysis. You could have picked a random number - why 105? why not 103? Technical traders don't predict, they react. What is the catalyst that would drive it to 105? The ATH is 75.40, the Fib extension will take a while to drive it to 105. Is 105 outside the Bollinger Bands? These are some of the basic questions you have to answer before suggesting it can get to 105 else you will be labelled a MH. Cheers chidiebere1999: Happy Sunday, I have done some technical analysis on BETA GLASS and I believe that the stock price can rally to as high as 105. Below is my analysis. Does anyone have any criticisms |

Nothing to see here. Pullback is normal in the market, though the volume spike might cause concern. ositadima1: LOL, some people are liking my posts now because Total dropped by 10%. You're still learning. Give it 3 to 6 months, and let's see the scores then. I'll do my boasting when the time comes, haha. Let TotalEnergies fall even further—let's see it hit 300, and I'll do more justice to it.

I don't have issues with any of Loco's posts but the technical term when a group of people who are not official Market Makers create artificial liquidity for a stock for their own purposes is 'manipulation'. The Market needs liquidity, they create it - that is all well and good if all the participants are aware. I don't trade penny stocks but it is essential to point out that just because you are not 'affected' by these activities doesn't make you immune to overall representations of these activities. The key to winning is to play games that you have a higher probability of winning. megawealth01: Just that I don't like talking my observations because I no longer have that care for that BUT
What stock has loco ever called that was pump and dump? As you sighted manipulation. Let's be careful of words. We nearly lost loco's rich contribution to people's wallet here
I know you will want to mention MULTIVERSE but be honest with yourself. Loco called that thing at #3+ if I ain't mistaking... Has it ever gotten so low to that price since then?
Let's learn to applaud people that do a good job here as the last time I checked no one is paying anyone money here to point out stocks or analyze stocks... This is why i never blamed OGG for focusing on his group where he guides people without all these unnecessary insults/abuses/fault findings...
I run a robust DISCORD etc group where I coach people on making good fortunes for themselves as some persons here are aware just that I don't charge a dime.
NOTE
I no longer take in people into my groups as I won't reply private messages |

The word you avoided using is 'manipulation'; 'pump and dump'. Easily done with penny stocks in every market. We see it all the time. Zegra: Hmmm This looks unethical Moving on |
