This deadly Ebola Virus Disease, EVD, has caused and still causing trouble for many families. The Minister of Health, Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu, has revealed that another Lagos nurse has tested positive to Ebola.

This sad development is coming 22 days after the first first case of the virus was recorded. The minister said the newly married nurse was among those that had direct contact with the late Liberian man, Patrick Sawyer, who is said to be the one who imported the disease into Nigeria.

Unfortunately, before the Nurse was diagnosed, she had gone home and slept with her new husband. So, her husband is now among the 177 people that government has placed under strict surveillance in Lagos. http://www.ireportersnews.com/2014/08/newly-married-nurse-tests-positive-to.html

For taking a piece of fish from the cooking pot, 34 year old Fatima Bankole (pictured above) said she got the beating of her life from her husband, Alhaji Kamoru Bankole, on Wednesday July 16th and now has 26 stitches on her face as a result of the brutal assault.

The Nigeria police on Saturday shot at over 2000 people in Maiduguri who were protesting negligence and the federal government’s failure to tackle Boko Haram militants. The demonstrators comprised some lucky residents of Gwoza town in the southern part of Borno State who had escaped when the militants captured their town from Nigeria troops. Fleeing to Maiduguri, they took their protest to the streets with various placards, some of them proclaiming that Nigerian troops had failed to regain Gwoza from the terrorist group.

Islamist Militant group ISIS has been killing non-Muslims in many cities in Iraq and Syria in their effort to eradicate the Christian faith in the countries...and they are not sparing children. A Former Sierra Leone Minister, Lansana Nyallah says he has lost nine members of his family to the deadly Ebola Virus Disease.
He said this on Tuesday, 7 August, while speaking to state owned television, ‘Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation’.
Nyallah says he has lost his brothers and sisters in the eastern village of Daru, an area which is more susceptible to the outbreak.

The Lagos State Police Command paraded 31-year-old Kelechi Williams yesterday Wednesday 6th August 2014 for strangling his girlfriend 39-year-old Njideka Lizzy Nzewe (a mother of 4) to death.

Kelechi was nabbed by police officers at the border between Ghana and Cote D’Ivoire.

The murder took place at late Njideka’s apartment after a physical altercation on Saturday 19th July 2014.

The graduate from Bromley, South East London, spent £8,500 on a number of cosmetic procedures at Harley Street Clinics and even requested for a refund when she complained that not enough fat had been removed during a liposuction.

Thelma had surgeries on her thighs, stomach, arms, love handles, as well as skin-tightening procedures using stolen credit card details.

The war between Israel and Palestine has entered Day 28 and what's happening there is sickening. Over half a million people in Gaza city have been rendered homeless with 270,000 crammed into 90 crowded UN shelters, some of which have had no running water and electricity. At least 1,700 Palestinians have been killed while 69 Israelis have been killed. Shelters full of children in Gaza have been bombed, medical supplies have run out, many hospitals damaged and medics are unable to go to work. Many UN facilities sheltering displayed Palestinians, especially women and children have been hit, killing so many little children in the city.

The conflict between Israel and Palestine has been going on for decades but this particular one started on July 17th after Gaza attacked Israel with rockets following failed peace negotiations. Israel replied with both air and ground invasion of Gaza City....and the world is just watching.

Armed herdsmen this morning attacked worshippers in a Catholic Church during Mass in a village known as Ungwan Powpow in Kachia local government of Kaduna State. A security source in the area confirmed the attack, adding that one worshipper was killed on the spot and three others sustained serious gunshot wounds before the attackers retreated. 19 year old Rilwan Ahmed (pictured above) did the most unthinkable thing, he killed his own brother. According to a report by Tribune, Rilwan took his 4 year old half-brother Waris Ahmed to an uncompleted building close to their residence at Oloko village in Ibadan, Oyo State, tied a piece of cloth across his face, making it difficult for him to breathe, then tied his legs, and left him there. Life slowly ebbed out of him as he struggled to breathe. His body was discovered there 3 days later. The first American Ebola patient, Dr. Kent Brantly, has arrived at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta where he will be treated in highly specialized units. And here's a video of the obviously weak doctor walking into the hospital (after the cut). Brantly's wife, parents and sister cried when they saw him on CNN, walking from the ambulance into the hospital, a family representative said on condition of anonymity. A new born baby was found laying dead in a dustbin at Hilltop Gate adjacent St Peters Chapel UNN this morning July 30th. No one around the area saw who dropped the baby. According to a source who witnessed the arrest, the woman pictured above, pretending to be a mad woman, was caught this morning July 20th on the Mile 2 Bridge in Lagos with the decomposing body of a 3 year old boy. A police officer who saw her dragging the blue Ghana Must Go bag (pictured), stopped her to search the bag and inside it he discovered the boy's corpse and a lot of charms.
