I don't know what there problem is, anything there is an issue pertaining to muslims they will always poke nose. Muslims will never talk about your tithe business and others. Using paracetamol for another person's headache. If you want to know what Islaam is in the real sense, ask with open mind not sentiment. |

what are the steps to tarbiyya of children? Tarbiyyah simply means ways of proper child upbringing. This question was asked by one of our followers some months ago and we want to benefit the people With the steps as we replied the questioner. Assalam alaykum, the following points can be taken care of for correct upbringing of children. Firstly: A person chooses a partner who will aid in building a strong pious family with righteous offspring! So choose a righteous wife and the woman chooses a righteous husband. A pious man for a pious woman, a wicked man for a wicked woman. So choosing the right spouse is the first step towards the good cultivation of children. Secondly: That a person is sincere to Allah in the cultivation of his children and he hopes for the reward of Allah for exerting his effort and his wealth – so he seeks only Allah’s reward and favour. Thirdly: Encouraging one’s children upon worship with gentleness; to encourage them with good character and manners from an early age – so they begin to love these affairs from a young age. Fourthly: To keep them guarded and protected from the muharramaat (forbidden) and munkaraat (reprehensible) affairs, and to warn them from that, so they know right from wrong and good from evil. To cultivate in their hearts hatred for those things that are harmful to their religion and morality – and teach to dislike that which will cause them regret in this life and the next. Fifthly: Having a good example and role model. This is from the necessities of good tarbiyah. It is something well-known that a child is amazed by his father and loves to imitate him and follow him. And likewise a daughter loves to follow her mother and emulate her – so we must be excellent role models. It is therefore obligatory upon fathers and mothers and others who cultivate not to contradict that which they say with their actions. Sixthly: Keeping them far away from gatherings of evil and sin and directing and guiding them to good companionship – rather direct them to the best companionship amongst ahlus-Sunnah; the companionship of the righteous. Seventhly: Enrolling your sons and daughters in the Salafi schools and in after-school Madrassahs for the learning and memorization of the Noble Qur’an that are established within Salafi Mosques. These institutions must be safe, and not known for beating children and thus turning them away from the Religion. Young children must be nurtured and not beaten. Eighthly: Protecting the children from satellite channels, TV, and the internet where they may be exposed to immoral and haraam speech, images and music such as movies and soaps which are based upon glorification of fornication, infidelity, disobedience, disrespect and sin – likewise those cartoons which contain sin and disobedience and even idolatry and disbelief. These are affairs that the Muslims have become lax and easy-going with – many are heedless and foolish with regard to their responsibilities in this affair. If your children need to access the internet, then make sure you have strong parental controls on all of the computers they access. One the best and simplest and free parental controls is. Ninthly: To teach them the affairs of Islaam and Imaan and to implant and nurture veneration, love and awe of Allaah in their hearts – and establish them firmly upon Tawheed. And to love the Prophet (salallaahu ‘alaihi wassallam) by explaining his virtues and the excellence of following him. Inculcate this into their hearts by reading his Seerah )biography(, his bravery and courage, his kindness and generosity. To teach them good manners and etiquette and how to behave in private and public; To distinguish between appropriate and inappropriate behaviour; To know about the dress code of the believers ]men and women[; the manners of the masjid and how to behave in it. The manners of eating and drinking; personal hygiene and tahaarah (purification); to wait for mother and father to begin and serving them first; not over-eating and reaching over others. Also how to behave around elders, friends, relatives and scholars. Not interjecting when elders are speaking, or pushing in through the door before the mother and father, or pointing their feet towards them or towards the teacher or scholar; Teaching them to constantly say please and thank you, and to be upon the remembrance of Allaah (dhikr); To pray on time; To sit after the prayer and make dhikr; Teach them short hadeeth and du’aas to memorise. Teach them to speak with clear speech that is free from street slang and obscenities. To be strong in body and character and resolute upon the Haqq – not swayed from it. Having self-respect and being proud of manifesting Islaam instead of trying to hide it! Tenthly: Sending them to bed early and waking them up early and to busy .. The Muslim Youth In the name of Allaah the most gracious the most merciful, may the peace and benediction of Allaah be upon the noblest of Mankind Muhammad solaLlaahu alehi wasalaam. Muslim youths of today now find it very easy to mimick the so called musicians both in their sense of dressing and way of life. A critical example is how people roll their trousers to the ankle lenght, most muslim youth are also found guity of this, whereas the prophet had told us long ago how a muslim should be observant of the length of his dress especially men. It was narrated from Abu Dharr that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “There are three to whom Allaah will not speak on the Day of Resurrection and will not look at them or praise them, and theirs will be a painful torment.” The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) repeated it three times. Abu Dharr said: “May they be doomed and lost; who are they, O Messenger of Allaah?” He said: “The one who lets his garment hang beneath his ankles, the one who reminds others of favours he has done, and the one who sells his product by means of false oaths.” Narrated by Muslim, 106. It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said; “Whatever of the lower garment is beneath the ankles is in the Fire.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari. If this is done as prescribed by the prophet the reward is certain, but imitating these people is of no benefit. Another issue is the kind of shaving(head) we see some youth doing, shaving part and leaving the rest with the same intent of being up to date as concerning what people are now doing. With regard to hair, the Prophet’s guidance is either to leave it all alone or to remove all of it. He did not shave part of it and leave part of it. It was narrated that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allaah be upon him) forbade qaza’; he saw a boy who had part of his head shaved and he said: “Shave all of it or leave all of it.” Let us stop thinking that prophetic ways of life is of no use in the modern day, just as the Qur'an that even revealed to us what will happen after death, the prophet way of life is also applicable to all aspects of human existence giving no regard to race or nation. May the turner of hearts turn our hearts toward goodness and make us successful in life and hereafter. virus150:haaa, class rep give that guy 500 asteriks |
And you think all these dancing people in their sunday asalatu, those advocate of democracy, those that believe in ruling with something else apart from the sharia, the accusers of the companions, and others are all upon the truth ![]() Trying to twist the evidences to suit one's stand point is not the solution. It has been said by the prophet that people will get divided and all will be in hell except one, which are those that practise Islam based on the teaching and understanding of the prophet and and the companions. May Allaah grant us ability to Follow the truth after it is known. |
