A reformist, yet unable to reform his own fragmented party. His speeches, often empty of policy, are dressed in emotion and sprinkled with half-truths.

The myth is collapsing under the weight of facts. Obi is not the symbol of a new Nigeria; he is a relic of old tactics—rebranded, reboxed, and resold to a hopeful youth base desperate for change. But hope built on hype is heartbreak in waiting.

Indeed, the masquerade danced too early, and the market crowd is watching as the costume unravels. The drums of 2023 may have been loud, but the silence of 2025 will be louder—when reality speaks louder than rhetoric.

Now the wind has blown and exposed the naked shame of the hen—what was once hidden beneath fine feathers is now bare for all to see.

Peter Obi was so detailed as a governor that all contractors were completely paid for all services rendered, and he also kept billions aside to take care of absolutely all salaries and payments for March 2014, even though he constitutionally stopped working on March 14.

All of these are documented in a signed handover note, which was accepted by Willie Obiano without questions until today. Also in the handover file was confirmation from Diamond Bank MD, Access Bank MD, and Fidelity Bank MD, affirming that they are in possession of Anambra State investments in dollars!

I want to thank my fellow Igbos for resoundingly rejecting Tinubu in 2023, and I have no doubt that we will do so again in 2027. For the few of us contemplating voting Tinubu in 2027, I urge you not to, for three main reasons.


1. You can bet that Tinubu’s running mate in 2027 will be Shettima, and it would be madness for us to vote a Muslim/Muslim ticket. It has always that if a Presidential aspirant is a Muslim, his running mate should be a Christian, and vice-versa. But in Tinubu’s desperation for the Northern Muslim vote, he picked a fellow Muslim. Can you imagine if Okorocha, Obi or Umahi were running for President, and picked a Northern Christian? Who in the Muslim North would vote for a Christian/Christian ticket? We Igbos must reject a Muslim/Muslim ticket in 2027

2. In this political dispensation, we have had 8 years of Obasanjo, and by 2027, 4 years of Tinubu. Should Tinubu win in 2027, it will 4 terms the South West has had. The South East has had none, and the South South has had one. How can we Igbos help the South West get a 4th term when the two other zones in the South have had one, or none at all? We have no business helping to make this happen. If the Presidency of Nigeria rotates between North and South, the Igbo nation should support someone from the SE or SS in 2027, they are the ones who have had the least bite to the apple.

3. Tinubu’s first two years in office has a complete car crash, and a disastrous failure. I used to think nobody could be worse than Buhari, until Tinubu came. All indices have gotten worse, the economy, inflation, insecurity, value of the Naira etc. The man has no clue what his doing. We have no business supporting such abysmal failure to continue in 2027.

Ultimately, it will up to the Nigerian people to choose the next President, assuming credible elections are held. However, we Igbos have no business supporting in anyway in 2027
