President Bola Tinubu has filed a motion seeking to PREVENT a federal court in the United States from releasing his university academic records to Atiku Abubakar, his principal opponent during Nigeria’s February 2023 presidential election.

Documents obtained by Peoples Gazette showed Mr Abubakar, on August 2, approached the States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois to issue a subpoena for Chicago State University to release Mr Tinubu’s school records, citing longstanding controversies around the Nigerian president’s background. Journalist David Hundeyin obtained records that showed a Bola Tinubu that attended Chicago State University in the 1970s was a female.

The CSU registrar’s office had told Peoples Gazette that it graduated a Bola Tinubu on June 22, 1979, but did not elaborate when pressed on whether the student was a male or female, much less if it is the same person now occupying Nigeria’s presidency.

Nairaland General › Re: Why Nigerian Leaders Should Learn From Surge Of Military Coups Ravaging Africa by thisisit: 11:41am On Aug 07, 2023
Your write up has not shown any superior VALUE, Democracy has to offer that other Systems of Government can't provide and Even better.

UAE, Saudi Arabia, Libya (Under Gadafi) Nigeria (Under Gowon) provided and are still offering quality benefits of Good Governance to their Citizens WITHOUT democracy.

When I have the time, I shall do a comparative Analysis of the benefits of Democratic system and Military system in Nigeria. You will become born AGAINST Democracy after reading.

But under this circumstance, Nigerians are fed up with the bad and poor governance that Democracy is synonymous with. ( Multidimensional Poverty, institutionalized CORRUPTION, etc). Nigerians needs GOWON- like Military rule.

Democracy is not a one size fit all system. Democracy is oversize for Nigeria. Military rule is the appropriate size for Nigeria

All of a sudden they have come into existence because there a gas pipeline to be secured in Niger Republic.

Not to protect human lives.
Not to protect Democracy

But secure corrupt oil and gas Business assets and Interest of corrupt politicians in Nigeria in connivance with foreign powers.

Yes... We have to fight ourselves to seperate those who want complete Freedom from those who are agents of indirect colonization, masquerading as Democrats.

As long as there is injustice, Inequalities, Multidimensional Poverty, lack of rule of law and INSTITUTIONALIZED CORRUPTION. Then we have to fight in Africa and in Nigeria and elsewhere
Politics › Re: Bola Tinubu's Credibility Will Depend On What He Can Do In Niger' by thisisit: 7:16pm On Aug 06, 2023
This Niger Republic issue is the real test of leadership. This is the big stage. This is the ocean.. not pond. This is what being PRESIDENT of a UNITARY Federation system in a heterogeneous state is all about.

Not using Lagos State resources to promote protest against GEJ.

Not promoting TOUTING and THUGGERY in Lagos.

Not support an unpopular FG to kill unarmed endsars protesters.

Not enabling corrupt loyalists to assume Political office through RIGGING or Influencing judiciary so as to claim credit of being a god father or kingmaker.

Not laundering money with BULLION VAns and ACQUIRING half of landed properties in Lagos.

Mr. Tinubu , welcome to the big issue.

If you fail to restore democratic rule in Niger.. there would be another military coup soon and most likely in Nigeria.

If you use military against NIGERIA would suffer collateral damage and you would be impeached or overthrown.

This is it.
Politics › Re: Democracy Of Africa by thisisit: 7:04pm On Aug 06, 2023
Democracy and it's tenets are stale, obsolete and cannot guarantee good governance in Africa.

Democracy LEGITIMIZES corruption and institutionalizes abuses of rule of law.

See the huge Tinubu cabinet and the cost of GOVERNANCE.
Compare to Tunde IDIAGBON's modest Supreme Military Council.

Any system of Government should be experimented in Africa. This one size fit all Democracy is not working. And can never work.
Politics › Re: Break The Ecowas Into Two by thisisit: 6:58pm On Aug 06, 2023
Very lofty idea.. The new blocs are:

1. Military Governments of West Africa States (MIGWAS)
2. Democratic Governments of West Africa States (DEGWAS)
3. Non Aligned States... Like Mauritania.

THERE SHOULD BE FREEDOM OF ASSOCIATION & DISASSOCIATION IN ANY SOCIETY OR GROUPS. WETHER COUNTRY OE REGIONAL BODIES. NOT BY FORCE.
