My gf once shared her own expirience wif me, she told me she saw hers at d age of 14 and it happned daht she came 2 school wit ha elder bro whoz 16yrs and suddenly she started feelin tired and pain in her stomach,so she decided 2 lie down and sleep.

LMFAO. Exactly! Apparently even eye contact with a boy can get you pregnant. She told me plain & simple that I must no longer come in contact with boys because I could get pregnant. Our parents can really make us dumb sometimes. There I was dodging boys like my life depended on it. Smh.

TBH, I was very scared & thought I must be very sick with something. I believe I was about 13 at the time & was cramping hard the whole day. Then during lunch break I went to the toilet & got the scare of my life. In my head I thought, blood + cramping = my organs must be coming loose. Lol, I expected kidneys etc to be the next thing I was gonna see. Things like that were not discussed in my home, so I was kinda clueless & worried. When I got home I started crying & told my mom what I saw. She understood instantly & ripped for me this HUGE piece of cloth that had me walking funny because I was not used to having something between my legs. I walked with legs wide apart. Hahaha.

If you don't know the aim of this thread, it's to give information to young girls who might be wondering what to expect or are scared of Menstruation. In case you don't there are kids on this forum.

In my school pupils of about 9 years and above were taken into different rooms (girls by a few female teachers and boys by male teachers) and taught about the reproductive system and changes that will take place in their bodies.

Older girls were told to share their first experiences. In addition we learnt about reproduction in class.

However, my grandmother had told my sister and I that if we sleep with boys, we would *see red*. So despite all the lessons in my head I was like, "I can't menstruate because I don't *play with boys*.

One day after break I started feeling some pain in my stomach. I was about 13. We had been told about all the signs and I could tell that something was wrong somewhere. I was scared. At the same time I thought it could not come (coz of granny's claim).

We walked out of the class to go for lunch. I was so scared that I didn't even want to check my dress. I was walking with a group of girls. One of them came and tied her sweater around my waist and said, " You have soiled your dress."

I went home and didn't come back to school that day. I think I shed some tears.
