The way VDM exposed and follow up on this scandals and insider dealings, rarely will a religious body encourage any of its members who unravel such. I am sure they will denounce or disown such a fellow.

The Edo Central populated by the Esan tribe had not produced a governor..
And be general consensus it was their turn to be governor.

So Obaseki tried to persuade Shaibu to go for senate but he refused because he felt he was deputy and should be governor by all means.

This was the root cause of the problem between the 2 men.

Shaibu runs around the country playing the victim card, acting to attract simpathy.

But in actually fact he's a snake.
