PSG are missing 5 first eleven starters..Doue, Kvara, Dembele, Marquinos and Neves with zero match fitness. He won't start the game. You are missing only one in raphinha and you have Rashford who is even more talented and deadlier than him. You are very lucky and PSG might still win.

I prefer fermin x10 over olmo as AM.. Daring fermin goes for goal and chances that fermin would score in a match is higher than that of olmo.

Well with Gavi you might be correct.. Neves is in the squad for PSG. Same with Balde who will be in our squad but might not start and who will play left back, you guessed right Gerard Martin.

The injuries affects both teams and I am praying that flick starts Balde but I know that won't happen. That left flanks had been our problem over the years especially last season, we conceded lots of goals through the left.

We have two attackers not included in our squad. Fermin and Raphinha... I didn't includde Gavi, he is well suited for this kinda match where Rough tackles, physicality and aggression is needed. I left him out.

Without Rashford, you'd be 1 point or 0 point on the UCL table, he might not be our best attacker, but for a player that's come into a new league and new team, he's doing well. Him and Raphinha provides something different from our other attackers and that's directness, we have enough technical men too, the mix makes for a balanced team.

With or without Rashford, we would have beaten newscastle.

But I will stop the criticism for now.. let's see how the season goes.

Rashford is not "Barca-suited"

Many good players came to this team and left.. "Coutinho and Griezmann" to mention a few.

They are good players but didn't succeed as much in Barca.

If he is Barca suited, I would say that from the beginning.

He and Roony are on same level.. and two goals against newscastle can't convince me.

He ain't benching anybody in this team. Raphinha, Yamal, Lewandowski and Torress are our attackers. He should remain a backup.

Yeah, I know flick is going to start Rashford tomorrow, I don't know the kinda stupid love he has for that guy.

You have managed this team for over a season and you should understand your players by now and know the matches each is suited.

He should start Ferran on the left, with the way that guy plays, he is surely gonna disturb alot on the left, giving us "Prime Suarez" energetic vibes.. he presses hard very well.. although not so good at converting chances unlike lewandowski.

Lewandowski can start as 9.. He is deadly upfront and yes we need him to score those stupid one-offs goals.

The Right wing is good with Yamal and Kounde, we know what these two are capable of.

There's no such thing as long term competitor for Pedri or anyone. This line of thinking usually only work on paper. Pedri is not even up to 23 yet. If Bernal is trained to compete with Pedri then like Nico, he'll end up at Porto or Valencia. It's like those who said that Neymar will be the long term replacement for Messi when he eventually leaves Barca. These things never truly happen. In fact, they never happen.

Shey Thiago was supposed to be long term replacement for Xavi, how did that turn out.? . When Morata first broke out at Madrid, he was tipped to compete fiercely with Benzema and eventually replace him. These things don't work, ever. I understand that you don't expect Bernal to replace Pedri but Bernal isn't here to just compete with Pedri, he'll want to find his own path if he can't play the important games at Barca. So like Thiago and Morata in my example, he'll leave to be a project leader in another club. If played at DM, he'll stay and play along with Pedri, not just COMPETE.

Bernal like most Lamsia graduates are very good on the ball and in tight areas. When Nico first broke out, he was labelled the new Busquet. I watched one game like that where he played side by side with Busquet, I just knew his Barca career was over. He was supposed to be trained to replace Busquet long term not play side by side with him. Playing him side by side by Busquet ended his Barca career.

If the directors at Barca want a solid future DM like someone like Gravenberch who can use his frame to shield the back four while being good at receiving the ball under pressure then Bernal should be trained for that. He's got the build, passing and strength for that.

However, If they want another Nico Gonzalez situation then they should continue having him compete with Pedri. Even a half fit Pedri will always start the most important games for Barca ahead of Bernal. But at DM, he(Bernal) can start important games along with Pedri, Dejong, Gavi and others.

Na just my observation, time will tell as always.

Confidence will be his limiting factor for now.

Maybe the use of the word "competitor" though but he can keep Pedri on his toes.

I see that guy as a long term competitor to Pedri, Yes Pedri. See how flick keep subbing Pedri for Bernal.

I don't want Pedri Starting every game. No one should be assured of a shirt in this team.

Even if Yamal Returns, The team has proven they can play and win without him.
