Foreign Affairs › The Chinese Company's Generous Move Has Gone Viral by ThroneNGamez(op): 9:14am On Feb 27 |
The Chinese company's generous move has gone viral, with Henan Kuangshan Crane Co., Ltd. distributing 180 million yuan (approximately ₹236 crore) in year-end bonuses to its 7,000 employees. This represents nearly 70% of the company's 2025 profits, showcasing the chairman's commitment to supporting his staff's financial well-being.
The event was a grand affair, with 800 banquet tables laid out with stacks of cash. Employees were invited on stage to count and collect as much cash as they could within a set time limit. The chairman, Cui Peijun, even instructed the finance team to add an extra 20,000 yuan to each employee's bonus, citing the burden of car loans and mortgages on young people.
This isn't the first time Henan Kuangshan Crane Co. has made headlines for its generosity. In 2024, the company distributed 170 million yuan among employees and gave 1.6 million yuan in bonuses to 2,000 female staff members on International Women's Day. |

Crime › See Money Wey Dem Pay Bus Conductor This Morning. They Gave Him 3 Of This by ThroneNGamez(op): 5:46am On Nov 18, 2025 |
Bro!!! This is wild. See money wey dem pay conductor this morning. They gave him 3 of this
The post features a photo of novelty "1000 Naira" bills from the November 15, 2025, wedding of Stacy and Abooluwurinrin, printed by the fictional "Central Bank of Love," handed to a Nigerian bus conductor as fare, evoking pity for his likely frustration.
With over 11,000 likes and 1.4 million views in a day, it went viral for blending humor with subtle commentary on economic hardship, as conductors rely on real cash for meager daily earnings amid Nigeria's inflation rates exceeding 30% in 2025.
Replies escalate the joke with scenarios like the conductor cursing the couple or receiving even larger fake sums, showcasing Nigerian social media's quick-witted, relatable banter on everyday absurdities. https://x.com/Hon_Jesugbemi/status/1990317689630498922?t=B5XbohqdsMofkitRen1JCQ&s=08

Look at the CV of the country's Defense Minister.
The post mocks the biodata of Bello Mohammed Matawalle, Nigeria's Minister of State for Defence since 2023, highlighting his limited qualifications—only a 1985 SSCE, clerical work, and secondary school teaching roles up to 1996—with no military experience.
Posted amid a fresh lawsuit filed on November 17, 2025, questioning Matawalle's academic records, the viral thread (over 60K views) sparks widespread Nigerian online ridicule of political appointments prioritizing loyalty over expertise.
Replies underscore public frustration with governance, comparing his CV unfavorably to the president's and decrying systemic unqualified placements in critical roles like defense during ongoing security challenges. https://x.com/oluwaseun_ajede/status/1990510117591056472?t=sG7y1brBI5V8nwQ7tdT2iQ&s=08

Crime › Enugu State Police Command: Alleged Defilement Of Two Children By Their Father by ThroneNGamez(op): 1:36pm On Nov 14, 2025 |
[b]ENUGU STATE POLICE COMMAND
PRESS RELEASE
ALLEGED DEFILEMENT OF TWO CHILDREN BY THEIR FATHER: WHY ENUGU POLICE ARRAIGNED THE COMPLAINANT AND CHILDREN’S MOTHER INSTEAD OF THE ACCUSED FATHER
The Enugu State Police Command, on 25th October 2025, received a complaint from Okonkwo Chisom (female, aged 29), lodged at the Command’s Emene Police Division, alleging that her husband, Okonkwo Ozioma, had been defiling their two daughters, aged 5 and 3 years, and threatening to kill her if she disclosed it. However, following the husband’s arrest and a diligent investigation, the allegations were found to be false and misleading.
Investigations revealed that, contrary to her claims, the periods in 2024 and 2025 during which Chisom alleged the offences occurred were the same times she had travelled alone with all the children to their hometown in Imo State. It further showed that, in two separate handwritten voluntary statements, their 7-year-old son exonerated his father and disclosed that their mother had coached him and his sisters to falsely accuse their father — a fact supported by video evidence. Additionally, she attempted to withdraw the case and stop further police investigation upon realizing that the truth was emerging and the case would turn against her.
Consequently, having failed to prove her allegations beyond reasonable doubt, Chisom Okonkwo was found to have defamed her husband and provided false and misleading information to the Police. She was thereafter arraigned before the Magistrate Court of Enugu State on a two-count charge of defamation and giving false information. She was granted bail by the court, and the case was adjourned for further hearing.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Mamman Bitrus Giwa, psc, commended the detectives of the State Intelligence Department (SID) for their thorough and impartial investigation of the case. He reiterated the Command’s commitment to fairness, justice, and professionalism in handling all cases, warning that any complainant found to have made false or malicious allegations would be prosecuted in accordance with the law.

Army Holds Route March To Deepen Unity Among Security Agencies
The activity was aimed at promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and mutual understanding among the various security formations operating within the state.
In furtherance of efforts to foster interagency cooperation and enhance operational readiness among security agencies in Taraba State, 6 Brigade Nigerian Army/Sector 3 Operation Whirl Stroke (OPWS) on Friday, 31 October 2025, conducted a Joint Route March for its own personnel and other security agencies within Jalingo metropolis.
The exercise witnessed the active participation of personnel from the Nigeria Police Force, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Nigeria Immigration Service, Taraba Marshal, and the Nigerian Red Cross Society.
The route march was aimed at promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and mutual understanding among the various security formations operating within the state.
Speaking shortly before the commencement of the march, the Commander 6 Brigade Nigerian Army/Sector 3 OPWS, Brigadier General Kingsley Chidiebere Uwa, noted that the event was one of the several training activities regularly organised by the Nigerian Army to ensure the physical and mental alertness of officers and soldiers.
According to him, “Today’s route march is not just about fitness. It is a demonstration of our strength, unity, and readiness to defend our nation at all times. It reminds us that discipline, teamwork, and endurance remain the hallmarks of our profession. As we step off, let us march with pride, purpose, and mutual respect, showing the people of Taraba and Nigeria that the security forces remain united, alert, and mission-ready.”
The exercise also served as a platform to reinforce esprit de corps among participating agencies and underscore the collective commitment to sustaining peace and security in Taraba State and Nigeria at large.
The route march, which covered major streets in Jalingo, attracted the attention and commendation of residents who applauded the display of unity and coordination among the security personnel.
Brigadier General Kingsley Uwa says that the exercise will be held monthly except when exigencies of duties come calling. https://www.channelstv.com/2025/11/01/army-holds-route-march-to-deepen-unity-among-security-agencies/

FCT CP ORDERS MASSIVE CRACKDOWN ON CRIMINAL ELEMENTS ACROSS THE TERRITORY
…. as CP Deploys Tactical Teams, Surveillance Units Under SCID, PMF, and CTU for a Sustained Operation Till January 2026
In a renewed and intensified effort to rid the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) of criminal elements and sustain the relative peace currently being enjoyed by residents, the Commissioner of Police, FCT Command, CP Miller G. Dantawaye, psc, has directed all tactical and surveillance teams under the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), including operatives of the Police Mobile Force (PMF) and the Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU), to join forces with the Department of Operations and all Divisional Police Formations in an extensive cleanup operation across the FCT.
The special operation, which commences in November 2025 and will run through January 2026, is aimed at identifying, dislodging, and apprehending all criminal elements hibernating within the nooks and crannies of the Territory. The Commissioner of Police emphasised that the exercise will be conducted with intensity and consistency, as operatives have been directed to dominate identified black spots, criminal hideouts, and vulnerable communities, ensuring the safety and security of residents at all times.
CP Dantawaye warned all officers and men involved in the operation to take the assignment seriously and discharge their duties professionally, stressing that no lapse, misconduct, or act of unprofessionalism will be tolerated under any guise. He charged them to uphold the highest standards of discipline, integrity, and respect for human rights while carrying out the operation.
The CP further urged members of the public to cooperate fully with police personnel throughout the duration of this operation, noting that collaboration between security agencies and residents remains vital to achieving lasting peace. He also advised residents to be security-conscious and to promptly report every suspicious movement, activity, or unfamiliar face to the nearest police station.

Politics › Re: Christian Killings: Tinubu & Trump Will meet soon To Resolve This Issue - Bwala by ThroneNGamez(f): 10:14pm On Nov 02, 2025 |
Daniel Bwala’s assertion should be treated as political theatre, not diplomatic reality.Nigerians must not be seduced by the casual vulgarity of such empty speculation.A bilateral meeting between two Heads of State is not arranged by wishful incantation on television; it is secured by structured diplomatic démarche, formal exchanges through the U.S.State Department, clearance through the National Security Council, and calendaring months in advance.
To imply that such an encounter is imminent either in Abuja or the White House, without evidence, without notification, without preparatory communiqués, is intellectually reckless and deliberately misleading. It is narrative merchandising for domestic consumption, not fact.Let it therefore be stated plainly: United States diplomacy does not bend itself to the fantasies of partisan spokespersons.Nigerians must reject this manipulative mirage.Until the United States formally publishes a read out or the Presidency issues an official Note Verbale, such claims have no legal, diplomatic or procedural standing. This Trump is not ready to meet Tinubu. |

Crime › Borno Spent ₦2.6bn On “repentant” Boko Haram Members As Soldiers Warn Of Leaks by ThroneNGamez(op): 5:03am On Oct 31, 2025 |
Borno Spent ₦2.6bn on “Repentant” Boko Haram Members as Soldiers Warn of Leaks
A review of Borno State’s 2025 third-quarter budget performance shows ₦2.6 billion was spent on “livelihood support for repentant Boko Haram members” between January and September, with ₦758.1 million disbursed in July–September alone.
The document also reveals limited health capital spending: the Primary Healthcare Development Board received ₦2.076 billion of an ₦8.7 billion budget for the period, while the Hospitals Management Board spent just ₦1.2 billion against a ₦10.5 billion appropriation.
Meanwhile, frontline soldiers in Yobe and Borno told SaharaReporters that some government-backed “repentant” insurgents have been leaking sensitive military information — including troop routines, w+apon locations and base alarm points — to their former commanders.
One soldier said repentant fighters routinely inform terrorists about camp schedules (noting evenings between 4:00pm and 7:00pm) and the location of armouries containing rifles, GMPGs, RPGs, PKTs, grenades and explosives, making troops “extremely vulnerable.”
The reports note that, despite billions spent on reintegration, attacks by the same sects persist. In April, Governor Babagana Zulum warned of Boko Haram regrouping around Lake Chad and the Mandara Hills and said the state has received more than 300,000 repentants in three years.
He urged greater military manpower, more air support, sophisticated drones and anti-drone systems, and a combination of kinetic and non-kinetic strategies to curb the growing threat. https://x.com/instablog9ja/status/1983583567738212603?t=XZsRI2n8sIcniJgYcOgGLw&s=08

NDLEA Raids Media Personality Pretty Mike’s Lagos Club, Arrests BBN’s Tuoyo and Over 100 Others Over Dr¥g Party
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested popular Lagos socialite, Mike Eze Nwalie Nwogu, better known as Pretty Mike, and over 100 others during a raid on his club in Victoria Island.
According to a statement released today by NDLEA spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, operatives of the agency stormed Proxy Nightclub, located at 7 Akin Adesola Street, Victoria Island, in the early hours of Sunday, October 26, 2025.
The operation followed credible intelligence about a drug party taking place at the venue. “NDLEA operatives, who were embedded at the party from around 11 p.m. on Saturday, disrupted the event at about 3 a.m. on Sunday in line with our Standard Operating Procedures,” Babafemi said.
During the operation, several cartons of ill%cit substances—including Loud (a potent strain of cannabbis) and laughing gas—were recovered from both the partygoers and the club’s storage area. Among those apprehended was reality TV star Tuoyo, a former Big Brother Naija housemate.
Babafemi added that all the suspects, including Pretty Mike, were taken into custody for screening and further investigation as part of ongoing efforts to curb the spread and ab¥se of narcotics in nightlife establishments across Lagos. https://x.com/instablog9ja/status/1982401154312028221?t=yzlMc5HVDun2W0tITUCpZA&s=08

This is a photograph of a German soldier whose face was severely disfigured by artillery fire during World War I.
He became known as the "faceless man".
Over 60,000 men from all sides suffered disfigurements so severe that traditional surgery could not restore their appearance.
Pioneering doctors like Harold Gillies in Britain and Jacques Joseph in Germany began experimenting with skin grafts, cartilage transplants, and facial prosthetics.
Many of these patients—nicknamed “gueules cassées” or “broken faces”—struggled not only with physical pain but also with the psychological trauma of living in a society unprepared to confront their altered appearance. https://x.com/Rainmaker1973/status/1981981152765161771?t=8g3bDn1bFHyDebMH0q_7kg&s=08

See the stadium FIFA gave NFF $1.2M to build...
JUST IN: FIFA has changed their Twitter header to the $1.2 million stadium built by the NFF in kebbi state
FIFA updated its X profile header to feature a basic $1.2 million mini-stadium in Kebbi State, built by Nigeria's Football Federation (NFF) with FIFA funds, sparking widespread mockery online for its underwhelming appearance amid corruption allegations.
The stadium, inaugurated in 2023 as part of a $10 million FIFA grant awarded in 2020 for Nigerian football development, has drawn criticism for apparent fund misappropriation, highlighted recently by a viral TikTok exposé.
Nigerian social media users view the header change as FIFA's subtle jab at NFF accountability issues, amplifying calls to disband the federation's board and fueling debates on sports governance transparency. https://x.com/NigeriaStories/status/1982026092975177911?t=coAlT-Dlg1GxIG39BfMj5w&s=08
