Okay see what will happen, let’s try and rule out the panel, your phone can be charged wirelessly, try and test it with a wireless charger, if it charges, then we can agree it’s most likely the type c charging port that needs replacement, if the wireless charger doesn’t boost your battery, then we’re looking at the panel

Have you been able to pay? Also, I think it's the japanese variant. I'm not sure again but someone wrote that was what they received. That's even what led me to discovering the different variants.

This one is a EU version which will work fine here in Nigeria.

It's not an new thing for phones to have various variants sha. Samsung has snapdragon primarily for the US and exynos for some regions but that doesn't mean that you can't use a samsung with exynos there.

I should add that I was referring to the pixel 6 when I asked that question about variants because it is what I'm considering getting. So, I don't know if the thing about variants applies to other older models of pixel phones.

not really. the japanese one has camera shutter sounds that you can't turn off. and something about not having mmwave which is present in the US one. there are variants for each region. The models are essentially the same but with slight modification for different regions. A google search will prove that i'm right.
