Health › Re: Have You Ever Been To A Morgue? by Thryphosa(m): 5:36pm On Nov 16, 2024 |
Acidosis: On the day my late wife was to be buried, just about a week after she passed, I went to the morgue with siblings, friends, and relatives. The mortician asked for someone to come and identify her body, which was already dressed for the lying-in-state, before she would be handed over to us. I jumped forward to do it without thinking because I had missed her. Everyone tried to stop me, but I insisted. When I went in, I saw her lying there as if asleep, dressed in a gown I had brought the day before. But she didn't fully look like the same woman I used to know. Reason is because she never slept on her back in that 'position.' The woman I knew would never sleep like because she loved "gum body" so much.
I can’t fully explain how I felt seeing her like that tbh. I didn’t feel the need to cry, crying was the least thing in my mind, maybe because I had already cried my heart out especially on the night she passed or because I had concluded in my heart that “nothing dey this life.” I went numb and maybe d u m b. No tears, no thoughts, nothing. I was just looking at her, but I was too shocked to fully process her condition.
Days, weeks, and even months have passed. There are still moments when I feel deeply sad and withdrawn, only to come out acting like I’m fine, but one thing that has remained consistent is how I feel about life now. I also have a deep sense of respect for people who take their relationship with God very seriously. It may be the only thing worth living for (by relationship with God, I do not mean idolising pastors or jumping from one prayer programme to another). I may have to write about this some other time. Sorry about that, sir. God will continue to be with the family. |

Yes o, na so we see am for here, Northerners hardly reject bad notes. I remember whenever I travel to Akure, I always keep the bad notes in my bag cos they outrightly reject them even with insults, immediately i return back to the North i continue spending them with ease.
Sometimes when I have plenty money with me, I even exchange my parents bad notes with new ones, then take the bad ones to the North to spend. |
Romance › Re: How Nature Humbled My Stance On Redpill by Thryphosa(m): 8:01pm On Jun 30, 2024 |
Negroid001: Was relaxing on my verandah sometime last week and i witnessed something that had me thinking up till this moment.
For over 2 days a particular pigeon had been visiting my compound and i dismissed it in my subconscious as nothing peculiar. This particular morning though, the pigeon swooped in again, hopped here and there and in one crazy frenzy picked up a piece of discarded rubber material and took off. My eyes followed it and surprisingly it's destination wasn't far, it flew to a piece of erected metal beam opposite my house, curiosity got the better of me and i stood up and observed. Behold, it had been picking up twigs and sorts for it's partner. The partner was building a nest, and when it arrived she collected the piece of rubber material from the male, tried fitting it in the nest and threw it away when it didn't fit. The male flew took off immediately to get another twig. I somehow forgot about the incident not until this morning i can see both lovebirds cuddled up in a complete nest.
Bam! It hit. Epiphany or whatever you call it. Men are naturally built to be providers and women are home makers.
Don't know what's wrong with this generation and the hype about being woke with women shi. Sounds like a homosexual propaganda to me. I love women, smart ones, beautiful ones, every one...
It's my duty to provide for the woman i love with what i have at my disposal and it's her responsibility to support me. Together we shall make our abode a Haven. Simple...
Any other thing? Na una sabi. I'm not weak, neither am i lazy. I only go women that have interest in me. I don't simp.
But say i no go provide, that one na lie. You're a man of wisdom. Nice write up. Kudos! |
