when tiger sold the company back to dangote, they (dangote) actually said they were going to change the name back to dangote flour.

What about that of FO and WAPCO? Both have been on full offer for over a week now.

FO looks bullish in the mid/long term but bearish in the short term. I have my eyes on Wapco. It's looking more attractive each week but I am just cautious buying anything now because it looks like the bears are going to be around till Nov/Dec.

GTB: Three consecutive doji candles. there is a tendency of reversal on this one on Monday. However, upside may not be much as the market is still bearish in the mid/long term. will be watching from the sidelines.

TeamSkye no big deal. the market is still very early. those offers may be mopped up. but I have sold 50% of mine sha while the remaining 50% is currently on offer (be warned). my strategy is that it is best to sell and if the market continues northword tomorrow against your decision then u can buy again. this is better than hoping the trend will reverse.

Once you find yourself trapped, your primary objective should be capital recovery not capital appreciation.

that is why it is necessary to average down IF u are sure there has been a confirmed reversal (like in the case of skye). this will make u break even on time and even make some profit. if you don't buy more of the stock during the reversal you may find it difficult to break even as profit takers will not allow u. but this strategy requires that u have MONEY as u will need to purchase at least 3 times your previous holdings before you can reduce your cost basis considerably and break even in the next one or two trades.

skye will test its first resistance tomorrow if it does another 10% (N0.93 - N0.94). tomorrow will be the day of reckoning. there may be huge sell-off and some may be shaken out of the trade because they will be afraid to repeat past mistakes. But anything can happen and skye will just continue with another 10% and get to KM 1.20

When you consider the fact that Oando once traded at N2.97 this year and currently at N4.92 (crashing from a N8.05), I don't think one should jump in now. You might wanna just watch as things unfold. Not saying it can't reverse now but it won't hurt the pocket to take no action now.
