Cadillac15: Myconfidence in Morgan just increased greatly. Just like humans and computers, shit is bound to happen occasionally but how you resolve it matters.
They are up again and i have loaded my additional units of Dangote flour at 5.25, an increase from my intended rate of 5.06 this morning.
Mr dangote, your target has been increased. Please work hard. So na you load that 10,000 units abi. |

larush: The difference is the brokerage fees. Using Morgan's platform will save you more that 70% of transaction cost. Which could make lots of difference. That's another good reason for wanting to use Morgan. |

feelaaG: Is online trading the only thing you need from your brokers?
As for me, I want easy access to my broker and Margin loans at the shortest notice and I get all these from my analogue broker.. Yes ooo. That's the reason I left Meristem even though they have excellent customer service. I lost a lot of money because of Meritade's slow and inconsistent trading platform. Morgan's platform is very fast and responsive which is why I am currently processing a new account with TRW Stockbrokers as they have the same platform with Morgan. I don't have any reason to contact my broker (I hardly even make withdrawals from my trading account) as long as I am able to trade myself. |

taiwobaloo2002: Very reasonable critique of MorganCapital, i spoke with an insider and he informed me that the problem is from their host, i can't confirm that but if that's true i do not expect them to come out and say that.
My brother 0.25% is not a "yeye" low charges. They are a brave stockbroking firm but they need to get thier acts together. It could be dangerous for them. This could be a very BIG LIE. Morgan is hosted by Caladata Limited and the following stockbrokers are also hosted by Caladata and have the same trading platform as Morgan. Are you saying all of them are experiencing the same problem? Please customers of TRW Stockbrokers or any of the below should confirmed this. 1.TRW Stockbrokers Ltd 2.Fortress Capital Ltd 3.Nigerian International Securities Limited 4.Edgefield Capital Management Limited 5.Core Trust & Investment Limited 6.Sigma Securities Limited |

larush: This is most unfair and you know it. It is impossible for any stockbroking firm to use clients' money to trade themselves without NSE not getting to know and the consequences are dire. Its' called co-mingling. Even though i agree that they have a very weak communication system, you cannot accuse them of fraud just for the sake of it. You guys should stop saying what you don't know. Who told you they cannot use your money to trade? Brokers are allowed to trade and make money for themselves just like everyone else. The money in your trading account is domiciled in their bank accounts and they have 100% access to those funds. From where do you think they make their money? From your meagre commission fees? Think again. Why do you think SEC is always increasing minimum required Capitalisation of Stockbrokers? What do you have to say about stockbrokers that have incured the wrath of SEC due to market infractions? Have you not heard of market infractions that involve brokers selling your stocks without your consent and neither giving you back your stock nor the money realised from the sale? |

ukay2: Anybody that has access to Morgan capital security management should advise them to open tomorrow morning for us to have access to our account balance or for withdrawal of my funds if they are not trading.....otherwise they will know some people are TROUBLE MAKERS. ..,.I will ensure I take it up with them to a LOGICAL Conclusion with SEC or to Supreme Court. ..This is very UNPROFESSIONAL Let's join hands together and stop Morgan from these nonse attitudes. Let those that are affected send an email of SEC. They are very effective and will do something about this asap. I am sending my complaint to SEC right away. |

chillykelly86: And what do I stand to gain deceiving anyone? When I tell you I have been in FBNH for over a year, you should know I have tasted sub #3. The only difference now is my portfolio is concentration in FBNH, at my own risk, my own funds.
So, which part exactly is a lie, deceit or both? That if FBNH falls back to #3, you'll not be moved. Of course I have no doubt you have tasted sub #3 |

locodemy: For instance,if i want to buy fcmb tomorrow,i will first check the last trade price.Today fcmb closed at 1.32.If fcmb has to gain 10% tomorrow,it means it will be trading at 1.45 tomorrow. To use price tag to buy,i will place the order at 1.38 instead of allowing my broker to buy at the highest price.
The disadvantage of using price tag to buy stocks is that you may end up not getting the stock.if you have a wicked broker,he will use your money to trade and tell you the stock is not available in the market. This time is not good to buy stocks with tag.it is only good during the bears.
Ihedi dont tell me you dont know this oooooooooo..........old broker like you dey ask this kind question.....
Well thats the answer bro. Which wan is price tag again? Price Limit, you mean. |

Chibuking81: Am suspecting morgan capital, is like they shut down their system and deny their customer gaining access to their account in order to use peoples money to buy some stocks for themselves and sell within one or two days and make some profit for themselves during this massive bull, thereby deny people opportunity to use their fund and to make profit on their own.
This is not problem from NSE, because if it's one can still view his account and see his/her balance, but this time one can not login, see or view his/her account, meaning that their customers were totally locked out from their platform.
It's a delebrate act, that need to be address, why their system don't usually go off during the bear, truly it's suspicious If their system failure continue by tomorrow, that means am not far from the truth.
Will they pay for opportunies their customers misses today? If they fail again by tomorrow, I will not have any other option than to withdraw my traped cash with them and the moment the current bull go on break to drink water before it continue again, I will sell all my stocks with them and go 100% to CSL stockbrokers. You may not be far from the truth. It is getting too much for Morgan. Those that are complaining should forward their complaints to SEC (sec@sec.gov.ng). If they receive multiple emails about this issue they will definitely look into it. |

I need to port from Morgan
Thanks EDUECO: I abhor ignorance, ineptitude, inefficiency and cheats or cheating with a passion! The following brokers use Caladata service and as such they all have live trade capability:
1.TRW Stockbrokers Ltd 2.Fortress Capital Ltd 3.Nigerian International Securities Limited 4.Edgefield Capital Management Limited 5.Core Trust & Investment Limited 6.Sigma Securities Limited Caladata Limited is the one that provides the live trade service to these stockbroking firms!
Please,my Brothers & Sisters in the Lord(use the internet to search for more in order to inform us),we need more of these brokers to serve as alternative to MorganCapital Broking firm! |
