hi everyone, Do you know of anyone who registered this year who has has completed the process and received council approval?

The first half of the year is pretty much gone and COREN have barely communicated or made meaningful progress. na soso "we're working on it" but no evidence.

I registered last year November but wasn't able to complete the process before the portal upgrade. with the new portal, a request for payment block prevents me from continuing the process. I understand I am not the only one experiencing this and have tried to reach out over a dozen times on severla occasions but till date nothing has been done.

I just want to know if there's anybody out there who has gone throough this and gotten their issue resolved. Please reach out beacause I am already tired of the whole process.

PS: there has been no communication whatsoever from COREN since these problems started. not to my knowledge though.

How best can we make official complaints on these issues, with no one to contact? Maybe until we go and rant on social media they will sit up, this is really embarrassing, this is more like a downgrade than an upgrade, am still trying to find a reason for this upgrade. I think they are just doing this to frustrate engineers and prospective engineers. please let's speak out for anyone that can help us

Somebody sat down and thought it wise to deploy a poorly tested application for use for a whole country. 3 months later - no feedback, no update, no progress - just silence. careers halted, opportunities suspended or missed. For a constitutionally mandated requirement, the silence is deafening. In saner climes people should've been fired for this embarrassing situation but alas it's the motherland - The cradle of mediocrity indeed.

Please, how are you able to login as an applicant? I have some other applicants finding it difficult to login too. This new upgrade is not properly planned & implemented and as Engineers, this is just not proper.

With my regular credentials. doesn't even matter if you can login or not. you can't do anything.

I used the same old login credentials.

Currently able to login as an applicant that started the process December. but it's asking me to make payment like a fresh applicant. called them but they said they're still working on the platform. 1st quarter of the year is pretty much gone. The wait and cluelessness is insane to witness. IO can only imagine the opportunities people will miss as a result of this endless wait.

I tried to login to check my portal but I can't access my account again

They eventually declined my application on the 24th of january because my proposers dues for 2025 were not paid. For an application I made in the first week of december! sent mails, called the contact number on the website but got no response.

Lesson learnt: Any delay you experience during the process, go to the COREN website there are statewise liason numbers there. the numbers are mostly reachable. I find the people at the HQ to be more responsive.

For people who need money they make the process needlessly tedious.

Them no approve mine. Mine has been on "Awaiting admin action since ending november." No contacts to call, emails have been useless. Just vibes and insha allah.

I also think the council meeting was held yesterday and election done for most leadership positions

It's been out for maintenance for more than a week now. Even if na list of people wey dey go hell dem dey upload e suppose don finish by now.

Hey guys, is there any advantage or disadvantage with respect to the location of.practise one selects? I've worked in jos and in ph I'm not sure if using either jos or ph would have any impact.

People that should also be arrested and jailed for fraud.

mine didn't work..it kept on stopping have at the "downloading program" section of the first software downgrade
