Obviously some empty brains didn't bother to read through the whole story before attempting to place it on the PDP. However, it should be noted that, in all the states that the PDP has lost, there has been a good display of sportsmanship. However, what the APC seem to be doing is resorting to violence in places they have lost.

No one has a monopoly of violence. The people of Gembu and those that are sponsoring them must realize that. The APC must realize this. The PDP is firmly rooted in Taraba and they voted for the PDP. If the APC don't call their supporters to order, the whole state might go up in flames before tomorrow. This is not the first time. For those who have been there, they would know what am talking about.

Taraba is one of, if not the most backward state in the whole country. The APC shouldn't set it further back simply because they want power.

Under which party's rule has the state been so backward both at the state and federal level? Food for thought.

Vacancy exists for the above position in an Independent Investment Research Firm in Lagos

Job Functions

· Research macroeconomic conditions along with company fundamentals

· Source and analyse financial data, and provide insights on processed data

· Analyse and prepare initiation research reports on companies

· Compile, analyze data and prepare reports on the mutual funds, pension funds and fixed income industry as well as economic reports

· Prepare and send out result commentaries and monthly stock market reports

· Arrange/attend company meetings with management, prepare questions and listen in on conference calls

· Establish and maintain relationships with companies under coverage



Necessary Qualification and Skills

· A 2’1 undergraduate degree in a finance-related discipline

· A masters degree in Finance and/or Investment Management-related discipline required - foreign degree highly desired

· Successfully enrolled or completed the CFA programme is desirable

· Minimum of one year post-NYSC experience in an investment /research role with direct experience in writing company research reports

· Strong analytical and numerical skills

· Excellent writing and communication skills

· Confident and able to work under pressure with strict timelines

· Able to carry out investigative research
