The above subject has been ruined, reduced to rubble by artists, sponsors and fans. While growing up, for an artist to perform live raced every heartbeat. The vocals; even if without that 100%, The dances should augment. In addition; pantomimes, stage effects should add up. But the vocals must be present. No one expects all to be Celine Dion, Beyonce, R.Kelly, Usher, Yemi Alade, Omawunmi, Aretha Franklin, Flavour, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston etcetera. The aforementioned and many more are Vocalists.

When artists in US Lip-Sync, it's a sin. Egs. The Super Star Beyonce did in 2013, the internet blew up. Famous news outlet, CNN, followed the news till it died when she sang the National Anthem in front of the press. Becky Anderson had to defend her on air, that she was singing along her song. Aretha Franklin did the same. Said, she would have had a playback if she were the one, because the weather wasn't trustworthy, it was winter at that time.

Micheal Jackson Lip-Synced throughout his Superbowl performance, but he danced for about 13 Minutes. That is, performing live.

Going forward, Nigeria has Vocalists, e.gs Yemi Alade, Flavour, Omawunmi, Waje, Darey Art Alade, Banky W and a few. But, auto tune seems to be taking over those vocals.

In summary, it's dubious to tell a Nation you would be performing live , only to rob them unknowingly.
