Still you can unlock the bootloader of the Global Version yourself and still install the custom ROMs

i think he is trying to say that he doesn't like the time spent on unlocking bootloader,instead he go for global ROM as it comes with unlocked bootloader

Relax and unfollow this thread and actually start using your phone instead of defending it.. Control your purchase, don't let it control you.. Because soon, tomorrow you would be able to buy something much more better, who knows, maybe the latest Flagship.. Then you'll look back at all these things you're doing now and realise.............

maybe he is a light user which redmi 8 will serve him well but he shouldnt use that to compare to others who are heavy users

I don't count SD Card and Radio as important features anymore. Since the days of Samsung galaxy S4, I lived without radio am still alive. My current phone Radio is the least most used app. As for SD Card common ones tend to slow down phones as they can't match with your in-built storage speeds so I avoid SD Cards on my phone.

Only the 3.5mm Jack I still have a bias for.

i barely use my radio app,as for SD card ,i don't really need it
