This is not true. If there's only one tribe that likes to identify with their language and culture in Nigeria, It is the Yoruba.

Yorubas like to bear their native names more than any other tribe in Nigeria.

Igbo - English names
Hausa - Arabic names

EVEN in their dressing , Yorubas are the only tribe out of the major tribes whose dressing aren’t influenced by Foreigners.

Northerners like myself, our dressings are mostly influenced by Arabs via Islam.

SS ppl , their dressings are influenced by European colonialists. That’s why they wear Bowlers hats, cufflings on their shirts and neckties.
