AWARDS TENABLE IN NIGERIA
TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS
The Supervising Minister of
Education, Chief (Barr.) Ezenwo
Nyeson Wike hereby invites
applications from qualified Nigeria
students in Nigeria Public tertiary
institutions to participate in the
2013/2014 selection interviews for
scholarship awards tenable in
Nigerian tertiary institutions.
Application forms are available
online at www.fsb.gov.ng and can
be completed and printed by
prospective candidates for
endorsement by their HOD or
Registrars of their institutions.
Online completion of application
forms ends 4th July, 2014.
2. ELIGIBILITY
(i) Undergraduate, HND & NCE
scholarship:
All applicants should be registered
full-time students in their second
year or above in Federal or State
Universities, Polytechnics, Mon
technics and Colleges of
Education. They should also obtain
a minimum Cumulative Grade
Point Average (CGPA) of 4.0 on a 5
point scale, or its equivalent, in
the previous academic year’s
examination.
(ii) Postgraduate scholarship:
Applicants must be registered full-
time students of Public
Universities and must have a
minimum of second class Honour
(Upper Division) in their 1st
degree.
3. All qualified candidates who
have fully completed the prescribe
application forms for the Nigerian
Awards scholarship are to attend
selection interviews as scheduled
below.
4. General Information
Copies of completed application
forms should be submitted at the
various interview centres and
accompanied with.
(a) Photocopies of:
i) Letter of admission to the
institution
ii) Current course registration form
iii) Student identity Card
iv) Last sessional result
v) Letter of identification from
State/ Local Government of Origin
(b) Two passport-size photographs
with name fully written at the
back.
(c) Interview Dates:
Southern States: (South East,
South South, South West): 7th-
11th July 2014
Northern States: (North East,
North Central, North West):
14th-18th July 2014
(d) Interview venue: Federal Unity

ii. All application forms must be

applicant’s HOD and Registrar.

such as pen, HB pencil and eraser.
iv. Original of certificates are to be
sighted during screening interview
venues.
v. Interview starts by 8.00am
daily.
vi. Candidates are advised to
adhere strictly to interview
