WhiteMouse Events is currently recruiting for Acting General Manager, Events & Planning. This role is an entry role with opportunities for growth within the organization.

As AGM, Events & Planning, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

1. Plan, organize and coordinate all event needs based on the specifications sent by client.

2. Establish and maintain congenial rapport with clients, coworkers and associates.

3. Implement facility policies and procedures.

4. Provide concise and timely information to appropriate departments and outside vendors.

5. Prepare and distribute Event Function Sheets and event information including equipment needs, reviewing schedules for internal departments, and event billing.

6. Resolve problems and make decisions as required to ensure a successful event for all parties.

7. Manage and direct assigned events on-site while providing excellent customer service to clients and vendors.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Proven knowledge of convention facilities, convention and tradeshow management, event coordination, meeting planning, record keeping, report preparation and billing.

2. Must be detail oriented and organized.

3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer literate.

4. Requires initiative, diplomacy and the ability to interact with a variety of departments, contractors and personalities under extreme pressure.

5. Requires working long hours, weekends, holidays and evenings in a fast paced environment.
