I received a negative VETASSESS outcome for Health Promotion Officer (ANZSCO 251911) because my degree was assessed as not having sufficient public health courses.

I am now considering a reassessment with a change of occupation to Health Diagnostic and Promotion Professionals nec (ANZSCO 251999), since my job duties align more closely with this occupation and my bachelor degree is listed as one of the qualifications considered suitable.

My concern is about the Statements of Service I previously submitted. Can I resubmit the same ones (perhaps with slight modifications) under the new nomination as ‘updated statement’? or just reapply without submitting any. The confusion is because the old and new occupation have some similarities.

The VETASSESS website mentions that for a change of occupation, applicants can provide additional employment details and qualifications, but it also says the original application cannot be altered.

I appreciate every response.

Pls who knows anybody that has information on US embassy in Europe. I am weighing my options because of this date unavailability

*** The hook of the INA 214b has caught another fish, and you are the fish. The U.S. embassy does not give the reason (s) for visa denial. They just give some headline or clues under which you might have been denied , so where did you see the denial reason you listed ? So when they say reason for denial, they only pushed you forward as newly caught criminal, and the denial- reason you listed is just your mindset because visa officer will never tell you any reason other than handing you a 214b slip, and 214b also never list any specific reason. ***

No offense, but why don’t you just finish your current masters program and then travel to the us for a PhD ( one which could be fully funded).

First US trial 2024- Master COA: 50k (24k scholarship)
Result: Denied (Nigeria Embassy)
I traveled out of the country to start a 2yr Master(Europe) and later got a US Fall Master admission(2025) + GTA(Tuition waiver+stipend); 4k Deficit

So the situation now is I am done with the 1st year of the Master in Europe but I want to go for this new US Master admission.
NB: The programs are all similar

I am having exactly the same issue. Whenever I try to verify payment and enter the amentum reference number, the page doesn’t change. What is the way forward because AVITS is known for ineffective response.

Same was experienced. If you click continue to payment, it will take you to that pending appointment page where, you can input your payment details, that is, the amentum number and payment date. The process you followed earlier. That's that place it tells you "payment details updated successfully" and calendar is supposed to pop up after selection of pickup location if everything goes fine.
