Do you know what trespass is in a public place? If that incident was in his private residence then a lot of scenarios like his life was threatened and he defended himself in his private property but this is a public space where there isn't a regulation on who should enter and who shouldn't. Don't go assaulting people claiming it's trespassing, when you go to face a competent court of jurisdiction claim you assaulted him because he trespassed on your bar and see judgement rolling on your coconut head.
