Okay, first I have to say this.
I'm not really a fan of my moniker being called out on NL as buyer of deal or whatsoever, I like to stay underground and do my thing. Trust me, I buy from a lot of people here week to week

Second you got a lil spelling mistake in my moniker, and just seeing this particular post.

Now brother, I see you have been fighting your battles on all fronts already, but trust me you are doing more damage than control it.
I see you mention another popular dealhuter that had issues here weeks ago, I had my issues with him also (so many people here too), but if you learnt anything from his case, it is that he didn't stay too long on the matter, he didn't fight battles on all fronts, cause YOU CANNOT WIN on all Fronts. It is not just possible.

Relax on the ! on all your post, do less of the talking, Apologise and Retreat..! then ReEvaluate your dealings and come back better. Don't try to win this battle, the deeper it digs whatever reputation you have.
Your best chance of Retreating is gone, probably the last chance is NOW!!!

Hi guys, can someone kindly explain what "chip to unlock" means - in a layman's language please

All carrier locked phones are perfect & genuine like every other phones except that they ONLY work on a particular carrier that they are locked to..
If an iPhone X is locked to Tmobile, it will work just like factory unlock, if you insert your Tmobile sim directly into it.
But when phones like these are shipped outside the US (or even when you insert sim of other carriers other than the one the phone is locked to), it will not work.
You'd have to chip unlock or factory unlock it...
.
Chip Unlock is cheaper, and will work with any carrier locked iphone even with a Blacklisted Imei.

Buying an iPhone to be chip unlocked is foolishness.
1) lower resale value (most people off nairaland won't even touch it)
2) higher cost in the long run from buying unlock chips.
3) the inconveniences mehn ( not being able to upgrade early, sim swapping etc)
