Decypher:
There are more scammers here than legit tho. Newbies be guided.

Nah.. I disagree..
There are alot of smooth deals going on off NL via WhatsApp and offline..
We only get to hear about the ones with issues,, if everyone starts posting a positive review for every single deal rather than once in a while, then the thread will get disorganized.
.
I will advice newbies to first do a simple username search of any seller,, that way you can gather info from numerous dealings with him.. Both positive and negative, and decide ”on your own” based on raw facts.
I hold this to be more credible than coming to the thread to vouch bla bla...
And If really, you are wise,, as a newbie you should do both..

Pascalville:
I am a quiet reader in this forum and i have been following for months now..some of us.. people like me are piling up our little life savings just to afford a nice device.. this time i wanna afford a better device once and for all.. not that i have much to spend.. but my point is.. on these devices there re kind of discounts that follows.. but will you guys even do black Friday sales self.... Will it ever be possible ...for me to get an Iphone Xr for at least 90-100k during that period...i will even manage chip unlock i dont mind..... gracias.. some people are doing wonderful job here.. and in all honesty some are quite legit.. they will be the people i will love to deal with wen the time comes.. rather still letme just continue saving my small kobo.. tnks

Maybe a perfect XR @90k is once in a blue moon,, but I can assure you, as it stands now, XR chip for 110k/115k TLC is already the norm.
Just stick to the thread and look out for one.
And if you don't mind slight crack/dent, you will definitely get at 90k too..
BlackFriday like perfect ”XR for 90k” can be anyday,,like a thief in the night..
So Sit back and enjoy

Let me too start emulating those that have been giving positive review of people.. Make newcomers on thread dey see positive review too
It takes just one bad deal for a dealhunter's name to spread like wildfire here, but several good&smooth deals to establish oneself.. But either if person do good make we talk..
.
First time dealing with Anopholes last 2weeks, man kept in touch till deal was picked in lagos yesterday, treated me like a jjc
I'm impressed
.
My first deal with Toceenay too,, he personally picked up phone when it got to naija, and helped deliver it to my man
.
Not to forget WildChild ,after my man at pick point told me one XR is cracked at top right, sent him pictures and got refunded without going back and forth.

fowlyansh181:
it wasn’t. Wild child wanted being greedy and buyer asked for a full refund.

You are BAD narrator trying to push an agenda, and whatever your aim is, rethink it!
This is looking more like a blackmail already. You can't be beating the drums of war (the threats et all) and not be ready for him to be defensive.
If you want to settle things amicably with mutual respect for each other, please do.
If you want to issue threats, ultimatum, blackmail, and destroy one's image, please do it with your chest without pleading for a refund at same time.
.
Anyway, I plead again for both parties to sheathe their sword, and let this go (esp WildChild biko)..
Those drums of war you are both beating will cost both you more than the 55k.

omotolsy:
Wildchild i know you to be a very ethical fellow so i know your incharge of this situation and the definate outcome would be a positive resolve.

Baadal I do understand the rush of adrenaline
(pressure from your customer) which made you ask for a refund in such haste but it was an inconsiderate act.

Wildchild dont hold on to trusting a dealer, i got messed up by a trusted dealer while i was doing MD picks, i am sure the customer would be reading this. Luckily he was calm about the whole thing and there was a resolve.

We also cannot leave the picker of this phone out of this as it is his responsibility to still check anyway.

I honestly would not want to stress myself to start charging a phone during collection as it might be impossible except it is an office like Omics office, lesson learnt here, lets always go with a charger or powerbank to avoid such, just to be on the careful side, it's not being too extreme.

I experienced a lot of issues like this as a picker in the past and i must say it was one of the put offs of picking items. One of the reasons we stopped cos my brother Kay was not always calm to check these things(that's by the way anyway).

So brothers Let it go and dialog. Pick up indeed is a win some and loose some stuff/biz but then nobody has money to waste.

Usually a group chat is created and everyone talks in defence of his/her opinion and so on till it is resolved such that it doesn't need to get here hence the reason why we say baadal was too quick to react, definitely Wild had to find out stuff.

I believe this will be resolved soon.

One thing to note: Carry out your heart desires without threats, i do not need to threaten anyone when i know what i am capable of.

If there is anything the reason why this has been dragged till now, it is because Wildchild was threatened, we are all grown men, except a few. Threats to a fellow man is a challenge of his stamina.

You are full of wisdom Baba mi

bobo65:
True too

You have really done a nice job in calming the storm,, you are a leader, I doff my hat..
Putting oneself in either party's shoes, it easy to understand why they have both taken their stance.. Its a very relatable case.
Please WildChild and Baadal ,, i hope you shift ground and both move on from this..

Eeeya.. That's probably due to the network, I told about my travelling plans.. Network here no too good.
You can contact me on my sig sha

aywhy93:
Thanks for your post bro. I initially missed it until it was quoted. Anyone who has been into Smartphones and Gadgets for a while will know it's exactly as you said it.

I've taken at least two devices to Ikeja and toured everywhere without an unlock solution this year. I eventually unlocked them myself after dedicating enough time for it on my PC. So if anyone wants to gain knowledge about something, you ask for it politely, you're saving yourself some money, not me. I've put so many people through on many things on WhatsApp without even knowing their monikers here. But you don't just go at people and be expected to be treated like a VIP. Thanks bro

No lele..bro I know what that feels like, hence I had to take time to write all that.. Most people don't know how these phone techie shiit revolves..

Stormyweather:
my guy how far na?
