kayevans: If you are in public and in a publicly accessible area, you cannot claim right to privacy. There is no expectation of privacy in public. You can only claim that if you are in a private area or space you own. Even at that, if I'm recording you from a publicly accessible area in your private space, you still can't claim privacy. The most you can do is close your blinds. In the US it's called the First Ammendment rights. If you don't want to be recorded, remain in your private area... personal car, house, office and try not to be seen. You cannot be in the taxi, bus, public space etc and say recording you is an intrusion of your privacy...wrong. That is why celebrities are haunted by cameras even in their intimate moments, because they can actually not do anything about it. It is only where the action related to the recording is actually blocking your private space (for example bring the device very close to your face) that you may have a claim, and not the recording itself. I'm sure you learnt from lawyer Kunle or Sabinus Because what is this |

Mindlog: The root cause is the incompetency of the control agency.
Did the agency make sure that during the construction of the building or conversion from residential purpose to educational purposes, due process was followed and none of their staff collected bribes to look the other way?
This is an issue across Nigeria. it is two ways. someone is offering the bribe. our problem is complex |

Romance › Re: It Seems Whatsapp Is No Longer A Good Medium To Woo Women by TimiofAbuja: 12:30pm On Feb 26 |
Spiff20: Chatting beats calling everyday especially in awkward situations where you don't know what to reply, you can just keep quiet while thinking of something. But on calls, that thinking of something airtime is burning or if it's Whatsapp call, the silence alone while thinking is super embarrassing. And in chats you can bolt out whenever you want but on calls there must be a closing remark. Chat gives you liberty and flexibility. You can reply a message anytime you want. But when you're too busy for calls, some important messages may fly past you. In chats it'll just wait for you until you're available to read and reply. Chat is convenient, calls are traditional, boring, and stressful. There's a reason Whatsapp is more popular than some phones and Network providers. If you still prefer calls to chats in 2026, then you must have a hard time adapting to changes. However, there are specific cases where calls are paramount but that's 10% of the time. I like calling when, the matter is urgent, quick clarification, the issue is serious, there is risk of misunderstanding especially in business negotiations, apologies, important discussions) Calling is Faster, clearer tone and emotion. I prefer calling anyday anytime.....not I don't like chatting oooo but calling is preferable. maybe when one is in danger, you can chat at that crucial time |
