Health / How To Keep Your Immune System In A Fighting Mode Against Virus And Bacteria by timmythorller03(m): 11:03pm On Feb 02, 2016 |
We live in the time when viral infection and allergens are rampant. Many wonder why it is so, other put the blame on causative agent .Nonetheless, several studies have proven that the antidote to viral infection and diseases is good immune system. However, the big question here is : how can one attain good immune system? Just as the aphorism that “An apple a day keeps the doctor away” so is good nutrition pivotal to good immune system .This implies that: a lack in one or more of essential nutrients needed by the body may prevent the immune system from functioning at its peak. What we are saying is that the immune system continuously function inside the human body as a complex web of mechanisms and is designed to protect and defend against millions of invaders such as antigens, which includes : viruses, bacteria, allergens and other potentially harmful organisms. To help in protecting the human body against these afore-mentioned invaders, the body is equipped with the skin and membranes that line it’s entrances . These entrances includes the nostrils , the eyes, the respiratory and digestive tracts. If these antigens make it past the skin, they have to face the specialized white blood cells called T-lymphocytes, which continuously patrol the body in search of these body invaders. Other cells that keep the body protected from these harmful germs are B-lymphocytes, neutrophils, and macrophages. B-lymphocytes are special blood proteins that neutralize or destroy germs. Neutrophils and macrophages, on the other hand, search for antigens from the blood for delivery to the lymphatic system, which in turn discard them. Hence, for us to be protected from Virus and bacterial infections, it is our obligation to help these cells to function efficiently .......... <a href=http://tiponhealth.com/how-to-keep-your-immune-system-in-a-fighting-mode-against-virus-and-bacteria-2/>http://tiponhealth.com/how-to-keep-your-immune-system-in-a-fighting-mode-against-virus-and-bacteria-2/</a> |
