It's d desire of the client sir normally the dpc should b done with good DPM to prevent moisture penetration from below and either from above.
And actually d client is his own supervisor, will only try to guide him anyway he is far going below standard.

I have seen a 3 storey building that collapsed because the client who happened to a Professor in one of the pure sciences turned out to be the Engineer and Supervisor and Project Manager.


It is because of this our so called Professionalism that makes certain clients turn to other alternatives which end up good and bad in some instances.

Nothing stops one from speeching without trying to talk down another just because you need a job.

A Professional does not tell people that he is but his work(s) speaks for it self.

I wish you can open a school and start teaching students how to make designs like these, it will go a long way in transforming the Nigerian real estate space for ever.

I will like to go see this same effect in our furniture making sector. Things have gone more scientific... People should go online, youtube and see what is obtainable.

Professionality,clients request and as said commission given to the architect.
One of my client termed it "retainment fee".
lol,there are sometimes some clients are just wonderful and understanding.
No need to talk much or even ask for some certain things before they will give one.

Oga waiting all these 50-60 files mean oh. are you talking about the numbers of pages in the drawing?

Starting from the first page to the external details for architectural files and all columns drawings n details for structural files.
After all plotting of the result(the pages) on AutoCAD or any software the architect or the engineer might be using is abt 55files to 60files page by page or lemme use sheet by sheet.
We normally use e.g: sheet no; A101 till u get to d last file maybe A126
