PoliticsRe: The Situation In Imo State University Worsens... by TinieAA: 6:42pm On Oct 19, 2015
I was taught by my teacher that the worst kind of deceit is when you deceive an adult;it's not just an insult, but a shame. Those words keep reverberating in my ears as i watch truth being painted BLACK .We can't take this anymore. Governor Rochas Okorocha sent a message to the entire Imsuth community that he is was visiting to hear our grievances. Everyone left everything to come hear our Governor speak to us and we hoped that it was a bleak of hope. But low and behold. Our Governor kept everyone waiting and didn't show up. No explanation whatsoever.
So I'v decided to highlight this, to let them know that we "KNOW".
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
How do you feel when you lie?How do you feel when you promise something that you know you'll never do;giving false hope to infected.... Giving false hope to the affected.I've got one question for you.Do you really sleep at night when you know deep down that you're living a lie? To you it's just a job while to us it hurts to the bones. You do what's only good for your ego,yet you deceive us;telling us it'd be good for our development.when we came here,we were prepared to fight a battle(a battle against our ignorance) but instead we found war.now we fight for survival,we've turned victims of the system.truly,I've come to realise that when two elephants fight, the grasses suffer. We've been accused on our mission, and like a ship we've been tossed and driven;battered by the angry sea. Now I ask, will you beat a child and ask him not to cry? Some people have got everything, some others have got something;but we?...all we have are our hopes and dreams. At this moment those dreams seem threatened... And our only chance for survival is to get outta 'here'.many a time I sit and wonder why this race now seems very hard to run.but then I say to my soul,"take courage, for there's a battle to be won".
To my colleagues... Now we see clearly that everything can change especially people. who would believe our dearly beloved Alma mater could ever get to this state of 'transformation'?well, now I say to you,"be strong, be courageous...do not back down on your dreams.don't forget who you are...keep fighting. Keep your culture and don't be afraid of the 'vulture'... Don't give up"
To the goodhearted people out there, our friends and colleagues far n wide...we need your support now more than ever before.
If you are a medic,or live with a medic,or maybe related by any chance to a medic or you've ever been saved by medic....then,please...listen to our solemn appeal
Let the truth be told and our voices be heard..It's a freedom walk!!
We want real action and not a whitewash!!!
