CelebritiesTimi Dakolo Is Guilty by Tinucrown01(op):
Timi Dakolo Is Guilty !!!

It`s so unfortunate that in this part of the world where hypocrisy is the order of the day prevent people from saying the truth and makes people become a living victim of so many atrocities.
Rape is not an issue that should be taken lightly or handled with levity,

Yes, a lot of people are victims today including the young and innocent generations. But issues are meant to be carefully handled specially when it involves a public figure, else you become the guilt.
The bible says "Wisdom is profitable to direct" and an adage says you don`t catch a thief in the ankle, you catch him in the hand/wrist, so he won`t run away.
I believe Mr Dakolo did well by raising an alarm, if not for the sake of his wife alone but innocent and helpless victims, but in my opinion, there is always a better way to handle sensitive issues like this to ascertain justice,
Watching the recent interview he had with Mobtv, the wife looks so unhappy because a lot of their other secret has been revealed to the world and for many other reasons.

So for every mishandled issue there are likeable consequences hereafter considering that internet never forgets.

4 Consequences of Timi Dakolo`s action

1, His wife would not be a happy person again, because life will still bring back the issue

2, Timi as a soul singer would lose followership as a result of not mishandling the issue between his wife and Pastor Fatoyinbo

3, His children might face some sought of challenges among their peers as a result of the scandal

4, Their freedom might be restricted, in the sense that, some things they do freely before, they might not be able to do again.

The take now is parent, teachers, religious leaders, young ladies and everybody has a lesson to learn in this matter, lets us all learn and let the government do their job.

I wish the Dakolo`s well as this case get settled and I pray justice emerges.

I pray they don't cover up this case like as usual. Above all, we pray that God will intervene in the affairs of our country

Nigeria, every state and all families.

Peace

RomanceHere Are 10 Things Nobody Tells You About Marriage, A Mini-manual That Can Help by Tinucrown01(op): 11:13pm On Jul 23, 2019
Here are 10 things nobody tells you about marriage, a mini-manual that can help you understand what’s normal (and even necessary!) for a marriage to thrive.
1. Marriage doesn't complete you.

Contrary to Jerry Maguire and the implicit messages embedded in statements like "finding the One" or "your o... Read More

Contrary to Jerry Maguire and the implicit messages embedded in statements like "finding the One" or "your other half," a healthy marriage consists of two whole people who partner to create a third body of their marriage. In other words, one plus one doesn't make one or even two; it makes three. You are responsible for your own aliveness and wholeness, and your partner is responsible for his or hers

2. You won't always feel attracted to your partner.

Even if we know this intellectually, when lack of attraction hits in marriage most people panic. We’re a profoundly image-based culture and we’re taught through mainstream media that if you’re not wildly attracted to your partner, you’re with the wrong person. That simply is not reality.

We see our partners in many different lights — from elegantly dressed for a special event to retching over the toilet bowl. Even over the course of a day or an hour, attraction can fluctuate, and that's completely normal. Knowing this can alleviate much needless anxiety so that you don’t fall down the rabbit hole of “What’s wrong?”

3. You won't always like your partner.

His jokes will drive you crazy. Her laugh sounds like fingernails on a chalkboard. That’s simply the way it is when you spend that much time with one human being. We allow for this when it comes to friendships and family, but with partners, we absorb a fantasy that we’re supposed to like everything about each other all the time.

4. Being in love is a stage of relationship that doesn't last forever.

The romantic model says: “You meet, fall in love, and live happily ever after.” We skip over an essential stage: falling out of love. As one of my clients shared: “I had to fall out of love before I learned what real love is all about.” This is something rarely talked about in the mainstream.

And if you didn't have an infatuation stage, it doesn't mean your relationship is doomed! Some people have it and others don't, and there is absolutely no correlation between having an infatuation stage and the success of a marriage.

5. Love can grow with time and effort.

We also grow up believing that you’re either in love or out of love; there’s nothing in between. And we believe that love is quantifiable and a fixed amount, meaning that you can measure it — “Do you love your partner enough?” — and that what you have in the beginning is all you’ll ever have.

Technology MarketFacts & Figures _ Woman Gets Shot In Head, Then Makes A Tea! by Tinucrown01(op): 9:41pm On Jul 06, 2019
Woman Gets Shot In Head, Then Makes A Tea!

A 47-year-old woman called Tammy Sexton, in Birmingham – Alabama, was shot in the head by her husband with a .380-caliber handgun and not only did she survive, she managed to make herself a cup of tea and offered one to a police officer! The husband, Donald Ray Sexton, shot and killed himself after he shot his wife. Tammy was rushed to hospital by a helicopter where she stayed for three days after being shot by her loving husband; the bullet went through her skull and left at the back of her head. She is expected to make a full recovery.

Although this is very rare, it isn’t the first time it’s happened before. Medical records show that people have been shot in the head before and survived with no major injury. “There is a space in the brain where a missile could pass without doing any major damage. Is it possible? Yes. It would be rare,” said Dr. Patrick Pritchard who is an assistant professor of surgery at the University of Alabama-Birmingham.

Sheriff Mike Byrd (Town Sheriff) said deputies were looking for Tammy’s husband earlier on in the week to give him documents ordering him to stay away from his wife. Court records show he was put on probation for six months from 9th April for domestic violence.

“She was at her bed, and he shot her right in the head,” Byrd said. “Then he went out on the back porch and shot himself.” He then continued to saying, “When the officer got there she said, `What’s going on?’ She was holding a rag on her head and talking. She was conscious, but she was confused about what had happened […] she had made herself some tea and offered the officer something to drink.”

The only thing that could have made this story better was if her husband survived as well. Although it’s probably better he didn’t. I doubt his funeral will be very popular! Author : Luke Ward

BusinessWhat Is Success? by Tinucrown01(op): 3:56pm On May 10, 2019
What is Success?
Success is the hope and song of all men, I mean in their career, business, education and all areas of life, but do we actually know what success really means? does success has to be positive?
Success is best defined as the best definition you give it, as I await your definition of success and your success story, this is my own opinion
Success is fulfilling a purpose, achieving a goal or dream,
Success is your hope rewarded, But never for indolent awarded
It is quite relative as it depends on what occasion
Success is Victor's prize, but it is not an enterprise.
If you desire to be triumphant, Be wise, bold and expectant.
Many scholars have given the definition of success and while trying to adapt them to our lives, but we lose focus most times,
I think we need to identify what success mean to us as individuals and how it works, don't get me wrong I'm not saying the definitions of those scholars are not right, just saying we need to know what success means to us.
On this note what does success mean to you
My friend`s success story
I was told its hard to pass WAEC at one sitting when I was in secondary school
I set a goal to clear my papers because I wanted to study Medicine in UI and I needed one sitting
Since then, I read every day, nights inclusive
God willing, I cleared all my papers even with some A's
This is my opinion, share your definition of success and your success story.

Career5 Signs You Are In A Toxic Work Environment by Tinucrown01(op): 5:06pm On May 08, 2019
A toxic workplace can be defined as any job where the work, the atmosphere, the people, or any combination of those things cause serious disruptions in the rest of your life.
Toxic workers are not low-functioning or low-status employees hiding in cubicles with hoodies on. They are talented and productive people who act out in the worst way and, from a business standpoint, actually affect your bottom line. In fact, the more well-educated, wealthy, and prestigious they are, the more toxic they may be.
From negative communication patterns to low morale, five indicators that your workplace is sapping your energy and mental health.
1. Cliques, Gossip, and Rumors:
Everyone seems to be out for themselves, and there are no genuine friendships among employees. There’s lots of infighting and paranoia as well as gossip and rumours.
This is how toxic workers actively act out their unhappiness. They'll congregate in hush-hush circles around cubicles after meetings to put a negative spin on what just transpired or crucifying management and company direction.
2. Lack of Communication or Negative Communication: You and others don’t get the necessary information to do your job. You work hard with no positive feedback and no recognition, and you might even be told to be glad you have a job at all.
Grumbling and complaining by employees are ubiquitous–staff can find something to complain about almost anytime. Next, sarcasm and cynicism show up, demonstrating an increasing lack of trust of the management and leadership, and turns into low-level seething disgruntlement. Finally, making excuses and blaming others becomes widespread and commonplace; no one seems to be willing to accept responsibility for their decisions or actions.
Eventually, team members either start to withdraw, stop interacting with others, or leave the organization.

3. The human touch is lost
People are considered to be objects or expenses rather than assets, and there is little concern for their happiness or well-being. Their personal or family lives must be sacrificed for the job, as evidenced by 50-hour-plus work weeks, little or no vacation time, and 24/7 availability for work communication. Employees are pressured to compete against one another internally, which is enforced by individual performance measures rather than team performance. There's also little evidence of leaders' compassion and empathy for employees.
4 Managers are dictators, not leaders.
Toxic leaders consistently relate to others in a condescending manner, they take credit for others’ successes, and they manipulate others to ensure that they look good. Trust and teamwork deteriorate in their areas; they have a high turnover rate in their department, and they will eventually destroy the health of the organization.
5. Little to No Enthusiasm:
Expanding on the last point above, dictators-for-managers foster a toxic culture of distrust that makes it unsafe to disclose information or work in close collaboration. Job survival under a dictatorship is day-to-day, due to the unpredictability of the environment you're in.
These are the things that hinder your coworker’s productivity the most

BusinessWhy Every Small Business Must Have A Website by Tinucrown01(op): 3:35pm On Apr 07, 2019
Why Do I Need a Website for My Small Business?

Today you can have a website for business or brand. But for some reason, many small businesses have been slow to get online, even though websites have been around for over 25 years!

Fortunately, the number of small businesses with professional websites is increasing steadily, Yet that still leaves thousands of businesses behind the times.
A lot of small businesses feel until when they grow to become a large and known establishment before they can build a website for their brand because they don`t have the money and also feel social media is an enough.

I will be highlighting the Top reasons why small business should have its own website. If you’re a small business owner who is still on the fence read on!

A professional website meets customer expectations:
Now more than ever, your customers expect to be able to find information about your company or brand online. In fact, most consumers now do research online before they make a purchase, even if it’s to buy something from their local shop. If you don’t have a website, you’re sending a message that your business is stuck in the Dark Ages, or that you’re not interested in finding new customers.

Basic information in a simple language and in a few pages are usually more than enough, as long as it is tailored to their needs and very easy to find. And, most importantly, it should be accurate and up-to-date, since out of date info is one of the people’s top pet peeves when it comes to using local business websites.

You can control information and branding:
With your logo, colours, fonts, reviews and comments you can make your website look exactly the way you want. Having a website for your company instantly creates an official presence on the internet so that you don’t have to depend on others speaking for you.

A website is more affordable than traditional advertising:
Building a website is affordable than printing out flyers, handbills,
reaching out people physically and convincing them when you can do it online considering that the world now is digital, your prospective clients are wide and dispersed.

A website is easier to keep up to date:
Building a website and managing it now is different from what it is years ago, you can easily build, update and also change anything you feel like anytime you want on your website unlike years ago that it may take a developer week or month before you can do anything on your website.

You can find existing and potential customers:
Not only making your business/brand visible to your customers through the website, but they can also interact with you through it. Using email, contact forms, sales funnel and chat apps, you can talk with customers from the other side of the globe, get feedback about your new products and services. And people might come to your website from all different places, using search engines or Google Maps.

A business website levels the playing field:
There is no difference between the website of a company with 500 workers and that of a freelancer working from the couch in their living room. A clean and professional looking website completely levels the playing field as you can present yourself and your company anyway that you like, as long your company is able to help meet the needs of a customer.

Your business needs a website apart from your social media:
Lots of business owners assume that having a social media profile for their business is enough. Maybe you already have a Facebook page and grown large followers on Instagram and you 've got some pretty good reviews on social media through your post and ads.

But there are some problems with this strategy. First, you’ll always be dependent on the social media platform you choose. Trends of social media changes, If your customers are on Twitter today, they might be on Snapchat or a new platform that none of us has even heard of tomorrow. what’s working one day might not work a few weeks from now, many businesses who depended on Facebook have recently learned.

If you have a website that it belongs to you, you control the content and the message. As people switch from one tool to the next, your website acts as an anchor. No matter what platform customers prefer, they can always find your website in the same place, available to everyone.

In conclusion, every business needs a website
The case for having a website in today’s world is very strong.

BusinessHow To Turn Your Skills Into Money by Tinucrown01(op): 3:25pm On Apr 07, 2019
It is so obvious that in the world of NOW your skills tend to speak for you than your whatever you have studied in school, Unfortunately, a lot of graduates are jobless because what we get in school is different from what we see in the labour market, we were only taught to become employees after school. I feel education should be an added advantage to be your skills to more productive and make money for yourself
Today, I will be highlighting 5 ways you can turn your skills into money.
1) Determine what skill you have and the market rate. ...
If you have a skill already or you don`t have one yet, here is what you need to puy into consideration because, having a skill is not enough but having a skill that you can market is important, you have to go on a survey to know the market rate of the skill you have or want to acquire so as to know how and where to place yourself in the market community.

* Look at websites of others already making money from your skill
*Search Google and try to find forums and blog posts where people discuss how much you should charge for a given service
*If applicable, check out what others are charging on Angie’s list

2) Find initial jobs
In the process of gathering potentials, portfolio and even experience, you need to get initial jobs to help you have a taste of what it feels like to work with your skills, as a freelancer and have a higher level of experience and portfolio.
By the time you have this experience, you will be able to charge accordingly because people trust in the experience you have.
An experienced digital marketer would charge higher than the one still gathering experience.
So you can get initial jobs from your centre of influence like family, friends, and small business.
3) Get a Website and Showcase your Portfolio
We are now in the digital world, so it's essential to make yourself visible in the digital world so as to turn your skills into money.
Getting a website that relates to your skills will help you market and get clients from all around the world.
Creating visibility on your website through your portfolio will help you get contacts of your clients
4) Reach out to prospects
If you want to take your business to the next level and aren’t getting as much referral traffic as you would like, you are going to have to reach out to prospective clients. Who those clients are will depend on who you are targeting. Photographers who specialize in weddings are obviously going to be looking for different clients than a freelance visual basic application developer. Either way, you will need to identify your target customers and reach out to them however you think is most effective.
5) Live off referrals
Encourage your clients to refer friends and family your way. Not only do friends and family of your client trust your client’s opinion, but they also may have had a chance to see your client. My wife and I have referred multiple couples to our wedding DJ because he did such an awesome job. Those friends got to see him in action and trusted our opinion of working with him.
short: take advantage of referrals!

The most important thing to do is to get started. Everyone is learning as they go and it takes time to develop a business so the sooner you start the quicker you can gain momentum.

Have you ever made money from a skill or do you have any plans to in the future?

Science/TechnologyLg's Rollable OLED TV Is Incredible, And It's Actually Going On Sale In 2019 by Tinucrown01(op): 4:17pm On Jan 08, 2019
When I saw the prototype version ofLG's roll-up TV last yearat CES 2018, I was blown away. The engineers at LG Display had figured out a way for the flexibleOLEDscreen material to roll into a compact tube, just like a window shade or a poster, to disappear from view inside an ugly white box.

Now LG says it will actually sell a real version sometime in the second half of 2019. Provisionally dubbed the Signature Series OLED TV R and available only in a 65-inch size, it looks a lot nicer than the prototype. Pricing hasn't been set, but you can expect it to be really, really expensive.
I spent some hands-on time with the final design in LG's suite atCES 2019, and came away impressed. It feels like a finished product, something a wealthy buyer with a huge swath of windows and a million-dollar view would snap up in a heartbeat.

Turned off, the "TV" is just a piece of furniture reminiscent of a minimalist, modern sideboard or credenza: a low-slung stand supporting a sleek silver box. Cloth conceals a Dolby Atmos sound system and a full-width sliding door on the top back conceals the screen itself.

Power the TV on and the door slides back and the screen slowly majestically rises out of the box, unrolling and achieving its full height in a few seconds. And suddenly, there's a big TV.

Press the button again to power it off and the TV screen goes black and descends back into its box, the door slides shut and it's furniture again. It's like no TV you've ever seen.

It's also more versatile. A button on the remote lets you put the TV into "line view," where it rolls back up and descends into the box until maybe a quarter of the screen is visible. LG has designed a special home page for this short, wide screen shape, and it can display a clock with weather, personal photos or moving ambient designs.

The TV can also be extended a bit more, but not all the way up, to show 21:9 ultra-widescreen movies withoutletterboxbars. And the screen can disappear completely while music plays -- the set's sound system can interface with your phone via Bluetooth.

Unrolled in TV form, the television screen looks stiff and solid. The OLED screen material itself is affixed to numerous thin horizontal bars that support its structure, raised and lowered by a pair of riser arms on the back side. It's wild. And the sample showed no wrinkles or signs of stress from rolling up that I could discern.

LG says the TV has been tested to 50,000 rolls up or down. So if you turned it on or off eight times a day it would last 17 years. I asked whether LG would offer additional warranty coverage on the rolly-uppy bits and company reps said that hadn't been determined.

Aside from its sleeker silver remote and incredible design, this 65-inch set is just likeLG's other 2019 4K OLED TV. In our tests, organic light-emitting diode-basedtelevisionsproduce the best picture quality available today, and the company promises improved processing,HDMI 2.1and some other tweaks this year.

With less than 7 weeks to the2019 polls, the CBN assured of stable exchange rates in spite of the anticipated pressures, coupled with election spending.
Isaac Okorafor, CBN Director, Corporate Communications, who made this known on Friday, January 4, 2019, said the wholesale sector of the market received $100 million, while the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) received $55 million.
The CBN also allocated $55 million to customers requiring foreign exchange for business and personal travels, tuition or medical fees.
Okorafor reiterated that the apex bank willcontinuefrom where it stopped in 2018 in order to maintain FX stability.
He said the CBN had made a commendable effort in keeping the exchange rates at the current levels, noting that the current capital flow reversals from the emerging markets were expected to bring out pressures on the market rates.
The CBN is determined to sustain a stable exchange rate as it continues to put in place relevant measures to shore up the countrys reserves, he said.

Science/Technology10 Tech And Industry 2019 Predictions That You Will Read Everywhere by Tinucrown01(op): 2:47pm On Dec 18, 2018
Nothing is more of a Christmas tradition on the internet than the predictions for the year to come in most any given industry that is technology enabled.
When a year comes to a close, it is nothing if not natural to sit and wonder what will come next and to speculate about how that will come about. Should someone feed it to the right algorithm it would be fascinating to see what has been predicted by pundits everywhere in each industry and collectively across the board, versus what has actually come to pass.

30 years ago, before the era of democratized opinions the internet brought, heralding ones impression of the near future was reserved for the office Christmas party, it is now everyones perceived duty to give their view of whats just around the corner. Every self-respecting influencer will be asked to supply the world with their view of whats to come.

Furthermore, influence notwithstanding, nowadays, everyone with access to a keyboard or a YouTube channel feels obliged to throw their hat in the predictions ring and they have to, of course, make it big and sensational to entertain their audience despite the fact that, for predictions to be any good, should anyone keep score, they would need to be accurate.

The speed of delivery in most industries has dramatically changed through technology. As soon as an industry has a software enabled digital experiential connection with the consumer, that industry will be using technology to deliver it and the speed at which it can enable it, is undoubted, breakneck.

If youve had access to content on the internet over the past 10 years and have an interest in technology, all of the predictions below will ring suspiciously familiar and I predict you shall be reading them in some incarnation or other for many years to come:

Big Data Will Change Everything
Big Data - remember that? It was the object of 1 in every 3 articles a few years back. Minds expanded to the enormous amount of information that enterprise has, everyone was awaiting agog to see the transformative effect of analyzing it and Power Point decks everywhere were heralding its transformative potential. The term in itself, is one of the few hype ones that have all but disappeared in the past two years and whilst thats justified in this instance, the reasons why would be interesting to analyze.

Personalized Experiences Will Be The New Norm
Everyone, yours truly included, has been predicting nearly every year that the opposite of big data, little and very significant data carved out of it that pertains to a certain user, in particular, will transform the way every digital consumer does their finances and commerce. This would de facto mean, that companies that collect and hold data, from banks to Facebook, will put it to good use with -hopefully- the well being of the consumer in mind and use it to hyper-personalize their experience. This would have seen giants like Facebook show their hand at how they want to redefine retail through the data they notoriously hold. Needless to say, 2018s data-linked PR disasters have put a dent in that prediction and have severely slowed down the realization of the data promise for the individual customer.

APIs Everywhere
Account aggregation PSD2, API platforms, Open Banking, etc. All trendy hype terms, all essentially based on the idea of an open connected future where the consumer is allowed to see all their information in one place and to avail themselves of any service irrespective of the platform or provider they initially accessed it from. All your bank information and services in one place, all your shopping needs to be satisfied by the right provider from any device and all of your usual services connected, integrated and working to make your life easier. A magical future where the consumer is back in control of their customs through informed choice, not accidental access.

GAFA To Become Retail Banks
One of the GAFA entering Finance has been a long-running theme in the industry and outside of it, as it presents both an interesting opportunity and potentially contentious implications. Over the past 10 years, since banking has become digital, bankers everywhere have -sometimes- asked themselves if they need to add GAFA to the list of potential disruptors alongside challenger banks, digital-only propositions or other industries gaining access through account aggregation. Despite how much bankers would like to dismiss the possibility, GAFA has already shown interest in becoming a player in Finance with initiatives ranging from providing various parts of the payment process to obtaining local banking licenses, but never have they declaratively and resoundingly entered a market with a bank as of today ribbon to be cut, so their arrival has gone under the radar giving said bankers a false sense of security.

Blockchain Will Change Everything
Blockchain has occupied the minds of not one but all that work in technology over the years. A shift in mentality more than a specific piece of technology, blockchain promised the world to each and every industry with applications from the most mundane to the most disruptive captivating the imagination of every commentator in every corner of the internet. No self-respecting enterprise escaped the need for a Blockchain Lab or at the very least, a Blockchain team to task themselves with finding the most innovative use cases. With its promise of transformative application gravely delayed, or some would argue absent, this particular prediction you will -thankfully- see less of this year as it has fallen into disrepute and the general enthusiasm has justifiably waned considerably.

Amazon Shall Take Unprecedented Scale
This has adjourned every prediction list since their inception but has only recently become easy to substantiate beyond an educated hunch by looking at the evolution of Prime. This year, the explosion of AmazonGo and the potential for being sanctioned for size in some economies will provide even more reason to safely stick it on any of the lists.

Cloud Will Become Omnipresent
Speed, efficiency, innovation enablement. Whats not to love about Cloud as the universal foundation of technology. No one disputes the probability that in the future, all IT will happen in the sky - to think otherwise is tantamount to believing the earth is flat or that one can download the internet on a diskette. Finding an argument where any application will forever live in isolation in someones backend server room is increasingly difficult, but as Google, Amazon or Microsoft will tell you, the theoretical penny is slow to drop and the adoption speed doesnt match the rational view of its potential.

Machines To Start Taking Our Jobs
While no one disputes the advent of automation, this particular prediction is preposterous in the short run but a sure thing in the long run. The evident caveats are where we should concentrate the debate and refine the message, as not all jobs and all humanity are up for grabs no matter what SciFi scenario ignites our imagination, so enterprise should focus on soft skills and exclusively human abilities to redefine overall value of people as true capital and competitive advantage in a world where machines will simply be deployed to take the mundane and predictable out of the equation.

Voice To Replace Everything
To be used for everything from customer service and support to inquiry and information, voice was seen as the be-all, end-all answer to any of our consumer needs and the primary method of communication with any of the companies offering us products or services. With Alexa and Google Home topping the charts as hidden in every Christmas stocking over the past couple of years, one would think the entire universe can query the internet, order groceries or check their bank balance using nothing but their words by now, but we have yet to see the mass adoption and usability addiction that was promised.

X will collapse/disappear
If we replace X with FinTech bubble, Crypto, IPOs or Uberization you would have read this prediction 100 times this month already. No list for the year to come is complete without an example of something or another vanishing completely.

If youre looking for predictions fodder any of the above will statistically prove to be a safe bet irrespective whether you personally truly believe in them and whether their transition from technology-wishful-thinking to real life objective happenings is realistically going to come about in the year ahead or not.

One prediction that used to be everywhere a few years back that has now become alarmingly extinct is 20XX will be the year of the consumer with every proposition being designed or re-designed from the ground up with the best experience in mind. If we seem to have gained prediction-fatigue anywhere, this seems to be the one that has most been dropped by pundits and mainstream media alike and for our collective sake as a consumer, we can only hope its from an ill-understood fear of repetition, not a realization that it was never feasible.

The only honest prediction for 2019: Any of the above may or may not finally happen but what we can count on, is that thanks to technology, simultaneously everything and nothing at all will change. Also, no flying cars this year either.

I write about the fact that customers deserve amazing digital experiences and that we can't employ technology and the new Agile ways of work to design them, before we change the organisation's DNA to centre around Knowledge, Passion and Courage.

"We will never use technology to build experiences that WOW our consumers without Knowledge, Courage and Passion. We must change organisations to spark, find and grow them."

PoliticsBREAKING: Senate Suspends Confirmation Of EFCC Nominees, Says South-east , South by Tinucrown01(op): 7:00pm On Dec 11, 2018
The Senate has suspended the confirmation of four persons nominated as members of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
The SenateCommittee on Anti-Corruption and Financial Crimes had, on Tuesday, presented to the Plenary its finding on the four EFCC nominees, but the legislators noted that the South-East and the South-South were not accommodated in the Commission.

The four nominees presented for confirmation are: Ndasule Moses, Lawan Mamman, Galadanci Imam Najib, and Adeleke Adebayo Rafiu. They were nominated as members of the EFCC, and need to be confirmed by the National Assembly.

At the Tuesday Plenary, Senator Chukwuka Utazi presented the report of the committee concerning the confirmation of the nominees.
Senator Barnabas Gemade seconded the motion asking the Senate to consider the report.

Another senator, Victor Umeh, noted that the nominees have very rich, vital skills and experience.

He, however, noted that only one of the nominees was from the South-West, while the Acting Chairman of the EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, is from the North.

This makes a total of four people from the North, Umeh said; adding, The South-East and South-South are not accommodated in this Commission.

He argued that, It is important that we include all regions in governing roles and in the fight against corruption, as it involves us all.

All geo-political zones should be included in this Commission.

Supporting Umeh, another senator, Matthew Urhoghide, noted that The distribution is wrong; urging, Let us delegate people to look at the distribution of these appointments.

I suggest that this matter be stood down while it is looked into.

Utazi counselled that since there were six members in the committee, all of them should be directed to focus on one geo-political zone each and come up with a more balanced report.

However,Senator Ahmad Lawan advised the lawmaker to pass the nominations as presented, but that they should eventually correct it to ensure equal representation for all geo-political zones.

The Senate thereafter went into Executive Session, which lasted for 25 minutes.

At the Executive session, the Senate agreed that the confirmation of the EFCC nominees should be suspended for further legislative input.

CrimeThis Parade Of ‘fake First Lady’ Is The Saddest Thing You’ll Watch Today by Tinucrown01(op): 6:11pm On Dec 07, 2018
This Parade of ‘Fake First Lady’ Is The Saddest Thing You’ll Watch Today
Posted 4 hours ago in People and Nations. Edit 6 Views
Fake First Lady has been paraded at the DSS office. But she didn't deserve to be harassed and hounded like a convicted criminal

This Parade of ‘Fake First Lady’ Is The Saddest Thing You’ll Watch Today
This week, the Department of State Services (DSS) announced that it had arrested a woman known as Amina Mohammed or Justina Onuoha, who paraded herself as nigeras first lady Aisha Buhari.
In an era of clones and body doublesthe story of how the fake first lady allegedly operates, is an interesting one.

According to DSS spokesperson,Peter Afunanya,Amina once paraded herself as the First Lady of Kogi State before gaining access to Nigerias presidential villa as First Lady Aisha Buhari

"She took advantage of the fact that personalities as first ladies, ministers and certain categories of officials are not taken through rigorous protocol and security checks at the Villa post.

"What may even surprise you is that Amina, whose phone number is registered with the name Amina Villa, had on the said date, invited one Dr Alexander Chika Okafor, also known as Chikason, into the Villa wherein she made him believe the invitation was at the instance of the First Lady.

"Investigation has revealed that the First Lady was away on lesser hajj and not in the Villa during the period. Dr. Okafor had complained that he was fleeced of over N150m in respect of a Court of Appeal property in Lagos which Amina had promised to help him buy through the First Lady.

In a nutshell, Amina Villa has been accused of impersonation and fraud by the DSS. What is even more disturbing is the manner the suspect was harassed by DSS operatives and journalists during her parade

Whatever Amina Villas sins, shes still a suspect until the court convicts her of the crimes. But you wouldnt know that from watching that video. The suspect was treated like a common criminal, even though it was clear that she had reported herself to the DSS on the day. She was mobbed by journalists, hounded under a table and made to sob uncontrollably while pleading that she be left alone.

In that instant, Amina Villas rights were violated and trampled upon. And we do that a lot in this country. Law enforcement parades suspects and invites the media over. The photos of the suspects are splashed all over the internet the next minute even though no court in the land has pronounced them guilty. The police and other security agencies really need to end this practice where a suspect is pronounced guilty until proven innocent.

Nigeria first lady Aisha Buhari
The DSS goofed here and they need to stop the charade and drama forthwith. Amina Villa allegedly gained access into the presidential villa. Thats a serious case of security breach right there. The nation should be worried that a random woman freely gains access into the highest office in the land and that this suspect has successfully impersonated First Ladies. She should also be cajoled into volunteering information that could lead to the arrest of other suspects and the crackdown of her impersonating syndicate.
