In my opinion, from the day we marry what we both have is Ours. Not mine. Not his. And if we go our seperate ways after some years, what is Ours, should be split 50/50, regardless of what we each had when we married.

Rare maybe... however as a woman takes time out of her career to have children and raise them, women will naturally have less earning potential in their lifetime.

I lost 2 years of earning with my first child. 6 months with my second child, because then I earned more money than my husband and needed to go back to work sooner.

IMO divorce settlement should be a clear 50/50 split of assets, like my own divorce, no matter who earns more or contributed more financially during the marriage.

During marriage there should never be 'his and her' money and assets. It should be 'our' money and assets. Shared equally. Divorce should not change that and assets should also be shared equally. This is also rare.

Most times the man already had money and assets before getting married.
Do you now suggest they share his assets because a divorce happened in marriage?
In most cases,ladies usually come to the marriage with little or no assets,and eventually seek 50-50 share of the assets they weren't part of,in case of divorce.

I support 50-50 share of the assets acquired during their time(s) together,and not the other way round.

On the 28th of December, I went to Access bank to request for a new ATM card. While waiting for my turn, another customer, an elderly man of around 50years reached out to me saying i should help him out with my powerbank so he can power his phone and set his mobile app of which i obliged. I gave him the powerbank, when the bank staff was attending to me; the old man left the banking with my powerbank.

I quickly remember and raised alarm. His form was later sort out and his phone number was called. He picked and said he won't bring the powerbank. He ended up blocking the staff number. I requested they give me his number so i can trace him. They refuse and said it's against their policy.

The powerbank is very costly. Pls what can i do get my property
