Tttsss: Oh I see. You need employment attestation letters from each of your previous firms. Basically corroborating the date you started working and when you left. If you have your employment contracts for all the jobs, please include too. That’s a better way to prove that your CV is truly correct. Please don’t stress about primary school details. Not sure why that person said that. Just from secondary school- your WAEC/ IGCSE results are fine.
Also you lose nothing by appealing. If it comes out before then great! I think it might. Appeals take less time than applications. If you can submit it before this weekend. I think you’re good. Things could have changed by next year.
If you live in Abuja, even easier for you. Thank you, I will give it a shot. |

Tttsss: When did you apply?
We can’t really advise if we don’t know the reason for the gaps? And what proof did you attach to explain the gaps? Do you mind sharing so we can advise on what to attach. I don’t think finances is the issue to be honest.
Did you write the application letter and specify that you will observe the conditions of the visa? Thank you so much! I applied on the 5th of June. I have been in paid employment since my graduation in 2018. I provided a cover letter with details of my employment from 2018 till date. Also attached my CV as well as my current employers contract. |

JulietSharma: I think for the education and employment gaps you need to attach your testimonials from all schools you went to starting from primary, then attach your employment letters from all your previous and current places of work and then add your ID card photocopy from your current. Thank you so much for taking time to respond. I will take not for when I reapply for my visa. I will defer admission. There are a lot uncertainties around timelines for appeal decisions which might come after school resumes. |

Olayinkaraheem: Hello nairalanders.
I submitted my Irish student visa application two months ago, and I just got my passport back on Monday. Unfortunately, my visa was refused, but they’ve given me the option to appeal.
The problem is, the reasons they listed in the refusal letter aren’t very clear to me. I’m not exactly sure what they mean or how to respond to them properly.
Could you please help me understand each reason and how I should address them in my appeal? I’ve attached the refusal letter below. Any luck? |

I have attached the refusal letter here. Can anyone advise on additional supporting documents to be included during the appeal?
Thank you

Hello House, has anyone tried to appeal? How long did it take? I just got a visa rejection and I am considering appealing. However, weary about timelines and programme commencement on the 1st of September. |
