Wrong move as far as I am concerned. Osimhen should have signed a short deal on reduced wages in a big club. Yes it is unfair that Europeans that are not as good as him can command big wages but to get himself on a platform to prove his greatness, taking a huge pay cut would have been the best option.

After proving himself on a big stage, he can push for a better deal or even move to cash out in a place like Saudi Arabia. At this time, a big platform is what Osimhen needs, not money.

I will take pay cut to work in a top company in Germany, UK, US or Switzerland over a job let say in Nigeria or Tanzania (a Nigeria or Tanzania owned and managed coy) because of what I will achieve working in those European coys that top the list of bluechips coys in the world
